Thank you very much dear 😊 I love your beautiful questions always 😃 Maadhurya bhakti is a type in which devotee can share very close relationship with God & even has the right of scold Him or being angry or irritated with Him. Whereas a Shaanta devotee cannot argue with God as he always sees God in His real form. Sakhya bhaav is seeing God as friend. Vaatsalya is treating like a child, Daasya is seeing Him as master. Maadhurya is a combination of all these, it has Daasya's shraddha, Sakhya's closeness & right of argument, playfulness, Vaatsalya's affection, caring & concern, & anger. People think that Maadhurya is only for Lord's consorts like Sita, Radha etc but it is not true. Even Lakshman & Bharat had Maadhurya bhakti, they used to argue with Ramji lovingly, I mean debate of love. Maadhurya devotee has emotions which he wants to pour on beloved Lord. Draupadi poured her all anger & emotions on Krishna instead of Pandavas sometimes, as you know in Van parva & Udyoga parva before peace visit. As she said, "I have nobody, even not you!!!" It is like how we accuse our very dear person in loving anger that 'katti, don't want to see you' but we know that we cannot live without that person 😃 similar case in Draupadi's Krishna bhakti. So it is Maadhurya.
I can show you another scene where Yudhi & Draupadi are arguing with each other in exile, there Draupadi is blaming God for their bad condition. But Yudhi is telling her to keep faith on God in every situation. That is the difference between Shaanta & Maadhurya. Shaanta never loses faith on God but Maadhurya has the right to scold & blame own Beloved Lord while needed, but finally it will embrace the same God once again 😆
Yes after Arjun Yudhi was the closest to Lord & both of them went to Vaikuntha 😊
Yes I translate the poems myself 😊
Keep reading 😊 Jai Shri Krishna!

oh...thank so so much for the so detailed answer...😊.🤗

If maadhurya was a combination of all bhaktis & includes sakhya's closeness & right of argument. (like you mentioned draupadi did show her anger on krishna many times) but as far as i have seen or remember arjun who had sakhya bhakti never showed/was angry on krishna anytime😕 like draupadi . ive not read the main book so i may have missed that argument thing, or was it just that madhav never gave him a reason to be disappointed😉. i can only remember arjun unwillingly having to fight krishna because he had promised protection to someone whom krishna wanted to kill.

And you really translate so well😊

wow nice update...yudi's hate for weapons is so understandable. his dilemma of not wanting the throne because he needed to fight still wanting to live up to the expectations of his elders. It is never easy for a child to be thrust with such responsibility with both parents around And yudi here already had to take up his dad's responsibility too for his brothers. I was wishing he will share his feelings with his guruji instead of keeping them to himself.
Arjun had the same dilemma too when he had to fight the war to kill with his weapons. i think it was just the fascination for archery which made him excel so much while yudi was fascinated with dharma gyan so the fascination for any weaponry art dint exist which made it all the more difficult for him.
you mentioned karna. is there going to be a special interaction between them after all karna was yudi's elder brother. there must have been some while they were in gurukul. or yudi's opinion about karna at that time.

So, finally he got his weapon.

Yes, you know what, I love the spear thing only for this reason that my Yudhi used it 😆

Again I am missing the poems.

I know dear, they are confirm in next chapter 😃

But I liked the part where u pointed out his dilemma between his choice and duty.

A whole country's welfare was on this boy who wanted nothing from life than a peaceful

existence.Can u blame him ?

He must have a Mahabharat everyday in his mind over this. His not worrying about success n

failure..thats really sweet n shows that he is above all vanity.

@Bold: thank you very much dear that you understood it. Yes he had to fight war everyday within his mind which was unknown, unseen. But see that he had the ability to remain 'sthir' in that yuddha, that's why he was named 'Yudhishthir' the one who can remain calm even in a war. None except Krishna knew about this war of his mind.

But, my dear boy, you will know later that u r born for a purpose n that God will achieve it

through you.Concede now n achieve it or you will have to travel a long path n end up here itself

again.

Yes, God will help him to recognize himself so that he can realize his duties to world.

The archery test part and his concern for the nest ... I can't tell you how much I could relate to it.

When u r sure u r going to hurt something, how can u do it even if u r fulfilling a duty.

I loved Guru Drona. He knows each of his disciples so well. I am pretty sure if it was my

supervisor,he would have killed Yudhi by his sarcasm. Ok. that's a little exaggeration but the

sarcasm part is true.

That was his basic nature, he could not hurt even an ant but finally he had to fight such a terrible war, can you feel what was going within that compassionate heart? 😭

I liked the bonding between brothers or should I say father-son.

Even I love their bonding to the core. More on them will come soon 😊

Oh Urmi, thanks for giving me a place to vent out my feelings. Love u dear.

I am nothing dear, all is Krishna's Grace & effect of Yudhi's pious presence 😊 I am passing your thanks to them 😃 Jai Shri Krishna!

Thank you so so much Proteeti 😊 the hero of this story himself is full of love & compassion so it's not my credit at all, he himself made this chapter full of them 😃 & God knew that fighting against adharma was his destiny so He was preparing him for it.

Sakhya bhakti is loving God as a friend, it may have the right of argument like a friend can argue with another friend. Argument does not mean only open debate. You can remember how many times Arjun disobeyed Krishna in the war itself, before Geeta, twice in Bhishma parva where Krishna had to take wheel in His hand to kill Bhishma. Then forgot Geeta gyan & took oath to kill Jayadrath in a hastiness, did not ask suggestions from Krishna (whereas Yudhi would never take a step without Krishna's suggestion, be it Rajasuya, be it war or even his own lifelong service to truthfulness, Krishna's words were always ultimate for him). Arjun disobeyed Krishna when He told him to lie before Drona vadh (yes, Krishna told Arjun first but he did not listen, but Yudhi did not think twice to sacrifice his satya dharma to obey the word of God). In Karna parva there is an incident where Arjun made Krishna almost mad with his repeating childlike arguments 😆 I always think that if Krishna was not Krishna then He would turn mad at that day 😆 what I want to say is: Arjun had this right to disobey his Lord as that was his bhaav. But being a Shaanta devotee Yudhi could not do this. For Yudhi Krishna was not a brother, not a friend, only GOD. Only sometimes he was deviated from Shaanta bhakti & had Vaatsalya, (I will show it at those places) but basic nature was always Shaanta. Arjun too, sometimes had Shaanta bhaav like you will see him doing Pranaam before trying the bow at swayamvar, or uttering stuti in Van parva, or after Vishwaroop darshan. But Arjun was basically unable to maintain that Shaanta bhakti always, so Krishna made him forget that it was God who was in front of Arjun.

Actually Shaanta bhakti is most difficult for ordinary people as generally we are accustomed to put any of mortal/family related emotion or ego on God to make Him closer to us. Only upper level persons (Yogarura) can keep Shaanta bhaav always as they are above all family related ego & attachments. After leaving attachment from parents, friends, children why will one put those relations again on God? That is moha, isn't it? So sages & Yogarura persons can do this but it is very difficult for Aarurukshu. Hope I could make it clear now 😊

& thanks for liking Yudhi's nature 😊 he had to fight a battle within his mind always, from childhood. He said this in prologue that he was born to fight only. But he had the ability to be calm even in those wars, that's why he was sthir in yuddha, Yudhishthir.
Yes he could express to his Guruji but Drona did not leave him with his wish. He understood that none would understand him, so he remained silent, hiding all pains within his heart. We cannot even imagine how much pain was accumulated there in that soft heart! & see, he was very silent about his own pain so kaliyug readers are still unable to realize his inner thoughts
His feelings about Karna will come very soon. He had a soft corner for Karna so he was very much hurt after Karna's behaviors in dice hall.
Keep reading 😊 Jai Shri Krishna!

^^^^^okk so arjun krishna did have moments of disagreement😆 But arjun dint blame/question krishna like draupadi did did he😕. he was more of that not listening /arguing type friend.😆
I dint know arjun was asked first to lie in drona's case. thanks for making it clear

you r right about yudi. yudi was very depandant on krishna for advise. i remember reading an extract on this forum form KMG or some other book where krishna comes to visit the pandavas in the jungle and yudi catches krishna's hand as soon as he sees him & does not let go of his hand. 😳. i found that so sweet n came to know that there was such a special bond bet them which ⭐️MB dint show. i would love to see Vaatsalya bhakti in yudi for krishna as u mentioned.
