I think that's a great choice. Aham Sharma is a great choice. He has that brooding look and is also a great actor.

However, Ashoka was supposedly not good-looking while Aham Sharma is so handsome.

As for SRJ, he too is an amazing actor.

But I think, it's always better to cast a new actor in historical or mythological shows.

Fresh faces or not so common faces make the portrayal more appealing.
