in Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna also death and truth revealation of Karna has shown beautifully...😳

Yeah, I actually loved Ramanand Sagar's depiction of Karna's truth revelation for several reasons:
  • Unlike a lot of other things he did, this one was true to the story
  • It showed Kunti grappling w/ the question of whether to fess up to her sons or not. They even had a scene where Yudhi is making a list of the fallen warriors whose rites need to be done - Shalya, Abhi, Ghato, and Krishna pointedly asks Kunti whether they're forgetting anybody 😆
  • Kunti hallucinates about Karna (instead of the other way around, as in this serial 😆) and discusses it w/ Krishna, who persuades her to do justice to Karna's soul
  • Kunti finally asks her sons to do Karna's rites. That part had a bit of melodrama, including her slapping Bhima 😡
  • Yudhi absolutely distraught on learning who Karna was
  • In the aftermath of the tilanjali, Yudhi tells a triumphant Nakul that they did snatch the kingdom, not from the Kauravas, but from their eldest brother. And how he hates himself to the core 😭❤️ (Although I normally have a dim view of Yudhi, I just loved him in these scenes)
The only thing I didn't like about that scene was Dhritarashtra & Gandhari being present, & mute. This was just a Pandava family event - Kunti and her sons. It's unclear whether Krishna & Draupadi were also around.

But everyone gathered there to give Tilanjali to the dead na... That might be the reason for showing them also. I still remember each scene. With so much hesitation, Kunti asked Yudhi to do it and make them remember how Karna returned their life to them. Then Bheema says something and he gets a tight slap. Krishna too was there, in white dress. How can I forget his dramatic colgate smile?😆 (In that I love SRJ a lot. He doesn't smile unnecessarily) I'm doubtful whether Paanchali was there or not...

One thing I loved about it was Jyeshth Brata was Yudhi...not Arjun😆

To date, no serial has had the guts to show the Yadava fratricide or Krishna's death, even though all the bhakts know that it happened. Ergo, you don't see anything covering the mahaprasthanika or swargarohan parvas. The most I've seen happen is in RS-SK, where the deaths of DGK is shown, and the Pandava mourning following that. Then Krishna leaves the Pandavas and the serial becomes exclusively about Krishna, and ends w/ Banasura

Biggest MISCONCEPTION :- Karna was dambhodbhava(sahastrakavach) in previous birth. LOL!

According to indian mythology Karna was incarnation of Lord Shani. He was divine offspring of lord surya. Its is clearly given in ling puran ,skand puran & shani mahatman.

TRUTH OF DAMBHODBHAVA :

To clear this first we have to know about King Dambhodbhava or frustreted karna hater gave him name sahastrakavach..??

Who was actually Dambhodbhava..??

According to original ved vyass mahabharat king dambhodbhava fought with nara-narayana. But when he cames to know that both sage were invisible he accept his defeat & asked for forgiveness against nara-narayana. Later he changes his evil behaviour & became ideal king.

Plz read this full battle between dambhodbhava & nar-narayana.

SOURCE - KMG TRANSLATION OF VED VYASS MAHABHARAT

PARV - UDYOGA PARV

SECTION - XCVI

NARRATIVE :

King Dambhodbhava, still desirous of battle, repeatedly summoned those Rishisto fight. Nara, then, O Bharata, taking up a handful of grass-blades, said, 'Desirous of battle as thou art, come, O Kshatriya, and fight! Take up all thy arms, and array thy troops. I will curb thy eagerness for battle hereafter!' Dambhodbhava then said, If, O ascetic, thou thinkest this weapon of thine fit to be used against us, I shall fight with thee though thou mayest use that weapon, for I have come hither desirous of fighting.' Saying this, Dambhodbhava with all his troops, desirous of slaying that ascetic, covered all sides with a shower of arrows. That ascetic, however, by means of those blades of grass, baffled all those terrible shafts of the king that were capable of mangling the bodies of hostile warriors. The invincible Rishi then let off towards the king his own terrible weapon made of grass-blades and which was incapable of being counteracted. And highly wonderful was that which happened, for that ascetic, incapable of missing his aim, pierced and cut off, by those grass-blades alone, the eyes and ears and noses of the hostile warriors, aided also by his power of illusion. And beholding the entire welkin whitened by those grass-blades, the king fell at the feet of the Rishi and said, 'Let me be blessed! Ever inclined to grant protection unto those that sought it, Nara then, O king, said unto that monarch, 'Be obedient to the Brahmanas and be virtuous. Never do so again. O king, O tiger among monarchs, a conqueror of hostile towns, a Kshatriya mindful of the duties of his own or, should never, within even his heart, be as thou art. Filled with pride, never insult anybody on any occasion, be inferior or superior to thee. Even such conduct would befit thee. Acquiring wisdom, abandoning covetousness and pride, controlling thy soul, restraining thy passions, practising forgiveness and humility, and becoming amiable, O king, go, and cherish thy subjects. Without ascertaining the strength and weakness of men, never insult any one under any circumstances. Blessed be thou, and with our leave, go hence, and never again behave in this way. At our command, enquire thou always of the Brahmanas as to what is for thy good! The king then, worshipping the feet of those two illustrious Rishis, returned to his city, and from that time began to practise righteousness.

CONCLUSION -:
Dambhodbhava was ideal king great devotee of nara-narayana. He did not posses any kavach or anything nor he had any realation with karna, arjuna or any other character of mahabharat. He was simply a devotee of sage Nara-Narayana. Kmg has not mentioned any realation between karna & dambhodbhava

Karna'ians please Be Aware of such False propagandas.

So BRC also did not show this??thats really strange because they should end with Pandavas death also, just the way they started with their birth .

That was one of the biggest jokes I've ever read candidfrisky.😆.

How could it be possible for him to be incarnation of Shani and son of Sun together.😲 All these ling puran , skand puran & shani mahatman etc are written much after Mahabharata's period. So they can't be taken into account... Also the story has no logic at many points. It is just a fabricated one written by some bhatakti huyi aatma who wanted to justify his death. He was killed only because it was impossible to win the war without killing him. Simple.

May be because they might've thought showing death of the God can be a bad omen. I've heard such talks about many God related things... Though I don't believe, I enjoy reading them a lot.

I know that this place is very good to clear doubts,Is Vrishaketu fictional or real ?because in the real epic I could not find him..Its just said that Yudi called all Karna's wives and relatives and wanted to give the kingdom to Karna's existing son...then all consolidation ...After that there is only mention of Karna by him but could not find Karna's sons in that.

Vrishaketu was described by one of Vyasa's disciples - Janemaya. The KMG translations that we read are that of Vaisampayana, who was one disciple of Vyasa's who transcribed the work. The other was Janemaya, and Vyasa gave all his 4 disciples free license to exceed him. None of them wanted to, thinking that it would be disrespectful, but Janemaya took it as an order and went ahead & did it.

So given that Janemaya was around during the course of events, or at least lived in the end of Dwapar Yuga/beginning of Kalyug, he has a better chance of being accurate than literary figures or even historians who lived in Kalyug. That would include all our authors mentioned on pg 2.

The only thing that is left of Janemaya's work is the Ashwamedhika Parva, and that one has Vrishaketu coming under the love & guidance of Bhima & Arjun. He accompanies Bhima & Ghatotkacha's son Meghavarma to get the yagna horse, and later, he alongside Arjun fights Babruvahana. Babruvahana kills him b4 he kills Arjun, and Krishna, as opposed to Uloopi, bring them back to life
