I dont consider it a Prapanch even in the epic. It was to save Arjuna, that is what Krishna was supposed to do as his Sarathy.

Yup, defensive tactic, like a kavach.

And even the actual way he was killed was no chal, it was against the rules, but no trick

Killing an unarmed warrior while he is pulling his chariot wheel is a chal. Glad that in starbharat atleast Krishna has accepted this fact.

I second your thoughts devu and Anu
My understanding about chal kshadiyantr and prapanch means plotting, planning and executing ...
As Kanhaji said during Subhadra haran episode it is planning using six different tactics...
They definitely broke the rules of war but it cannot be called chal, prapanch or kshadiyantr...

i dont think all sarathy's can protect their warrior's by pressing down the chariot wheel.

yes sarathy's did protect their warriors by driving them away from the battlefield when their warrior fell into distress that was the only way normal sarathy's could protect their warrior's

i am not saying krishna ji did anything wrong by protecting arjuna or it was a prapanch.Krishna ji is god and arjuna was fighting for a righteous cause and god will always protect such people that i understand and i dont think it was wrong in any way

all i am saying is that krishna ji did protect arjuna in this instance and not in a normal way sarathy's protect their warrior's.This was a definite advantage that arjuna had but it was an advantage he deserved to have

Ofcourse Arjuna had advantage and he earned that advantage. My argument was against calling that act of Krishnaji as Prapanch. He used his powers to protect Arjuna, I see no Prapanch in that.

what is the meaning of chal here

a planned strategy which is against the rules of war isn't a chal?

just asking what would chal exactly mean

for me a planned strategy against the rules of the war is a chal
