- Arjuna promised himself that he would kill Drona and started fighting with hi. But none of his weapons seemed to work against Drona's kawatch.
- Yudhishthira and Bhima planned to kill Aswathama in order to make droma accept defeat due to his son's death.
- Draupadi was numb seeing her father's dead body and promised to herself that Droma would be killed soon, when he heard from his brother drishtadumna that it was Drona who killed Drupada.
- Bhima stood in front of Aswathama and hit him head on his head making him bleed.
- Drona came to know about Bhima's and Yudhisthira's plan of attacking Aswathama. He asked his sarathi to ride him towards Aswathama when Arjuna stopped him and asked him to fight.
- He further came to know that Aswathama is bleeding and very soon he would die due to loose of blood.
