I was quite surprised by it, to be honest...

For a guy who passionately loves his family and passionately hates his enemies with equal measure, it was OOC for him to say that rakshasa fighting in the war is "adharma".

First of all, it is his own son, for goodness sake.

And secondly, as per what got shown, the ⭐️Pandavas were caught off-guard by the nighttime attack.

So, summoning Ghato was the only option they had under those circumstances...

Yes, I missed out on Draupadi's insult, after she arrives at Hastinapur.

I loved that episode. However, the CVs once again held Draupadi responsible...that is, for division of the kingdom.

Like really????????/

Draupadi instigates Karna to humiliate her through "Bhoot-Pisach" and "monkey" comments...

Draupadi instigates Duryodhan to do her Vastraharan...

Draupadi's insult is also one of the reasons behind the division of the kingdom...

Draupadi prevents Arjun from entering Indraprastha, for marring Subhadra, and does not allow other wives to stay...

Draupadi declares war, by saying "Yudh Mera Adhikaar Hain"

You know what, initially, I thought that the CVs are huge fans of Draupadi...

That is y they give her so much of screen space. She saves Drupad, then that pre-Swamvar love story between Arjun and Draupadi (that vanished after marriage),etc, etc.

But now, as I look back ,then it appears, as if the CVs have cleverly made her the reason for everything, by giving her so much screen space. They have made her responsible for almost everything, even Abhimanyu's death. Now, novice viewers of Mahabharat will say, "She knew about it. Lord Krishna told her already that her sons would die. Why did she want war, even after that?" 😡

I think rather than counting what distortions were horrible its easier to count the number of things which we really liked, because former is more in number. what I liked in show, ummm. let me count
1. small pandavas track

2.bheeshma entry

3. a bit of pandu track

4. karna fierceness at rangbhoomi

5.a bit of taunting match in kaurava and pandavas

6.one of my fab (though its a distortion but I like it)- krishna entry

7.a bit of vanvas track after lakshagrih

8. drau wedding ceremony (not that so called big swayanvar)

9. little time of IP track

10.krishna playing piththu. I know it was a distortion but for some reason its one of my most favorite episode.

11. vastra haran episode (not emotional atyachar track). I really liked that episode

12.disappointing vanvas track, still it was nice in bits and pieces

13. shanti prastav track.especially the episode of virat roop.it was again a distortion but this episode is close to my heart.

14.whole geeta track.this part is the most perfect track of starbharat, b it in effort or simplicity or a bit of originality.

and rest are I don't know what to say abt them!in starkshetra war though there is one entry I liked and it was ghato! still due to bad cg and loose script the track lost its charm!

I loved Draupadi's entry scene...
