As a child I had always wondered why I liked Krishna more than Rama whereas Rama was called Maryada Purushottam. Every man was asked to be like Rama not Krishna. But after watching MB I realize why I loved Krishna more than Rama. 1) Krishna was perfect in every role. He was one man a woman could visualize in any form and feel happy about it. Devaki and yasodha's son, Radha's lover, Rukmini's husband, Draupadi's friend and Subhadra's brother. Take any form a woman want to imagine a man the first image will be that of Krishna
Key reason he has never betrayed anyone who kept their trust on him. Sita's character has been questioned and Sita had to live an isolated life for no fault of hers. But Rukmini who ran away on the wedding day trusting Krishna completely was his queen. Never once a question is raised on Rukmini's character. But her devotion to krishna is hailed. Rukmini had no one to go back if Krishna had betrayed her, but Krishna accepted her true love for himRadha was never married to Krishna. But then she is treated as his soulmate. In Bhajans, in temples and even in name it is Radhakrishna. Radha's love to Krishna has given her immortality in a society which treats marriage as the basis of romantic love.Krishna as a good friend came to Draupadi whenever she called. Never questioned why she called. Her trust on krishna always saved her.Subhadra she got her soulmate because of her brother who allowed her to elope without thinking what society will think about him or what will happen to his family's pride. When he found his sister's choice was good he simply allowed her to go.I would say the fact that Krishna will never leave the people in ditch who completely trust him, especially his role to woman who are always treated sub par in our society I guess make him the son every mother wants, makes him the lover every woman wants, makes him the friend every woman can trust and make him a brother which a woman can be proud of
