Uhm ... I can't think of a reason to watch it 😆

Otherwise, it's just Abhi yelling "let me go", everyone else telling him "shut up, we can't let you go", Shakuni saying "my yojna this, my yojna that" and drupad firing a single arrow.

Back in the camp, Uttara faints when she sees Abhi's Raksha Armlet, but the doctors determine that she is pregnant.

Finally, Pandavas - upon Nakul's persistence, allow Abhi to go and they trail behind like 150 yards or something.

And then Dury commands Karna to be the one to kill Abhi, and operation Kill Abhi starts in the precap.

Nakul persuades the brathas to send in Abhi. We all know how that will turn out! He'll be lucky if Wifey doesnt roast him alive for that

Is Shakuni the Commander-in-Chief of the Kaurava army? All yojana's etc seem to be coming from him only.

Others seem to be there like the Tanjore dolls, just nodding their heads.

Right .. it makes me laugh thinking that Drona is willing to work "under" Shakuni, but not Karna... Karna is definitely the lesser of two evils 😆😆

Both Drona and Dury are funny.. Drona sets up chakravyuh inspite of knowing that Drupad can break 😕 .. and Dury thinks Drupad can make but not break the array.. 😆

Drupad again tied.. earlier a CG rope and now a CG snake.. btw I dont think we had that famous disky

Impressed with the pregnancy test 😳 I dont doubt its existence but am sure CVs dont have any reference 😆

Pooja was good as usual & star of today for me was Richa.. her shock and raising voice saying 'mata' was praiseworthy.. i love her ears 😛

Abhi convincing tatshrees was over dragged. Drau scenes were good though fictional.. but sending good news to battle field was too much illogical.. now we know why they kept woman away from the kurukshetra..

Making everything preplanned doesnt work everytime.
When abhi was entering the chakravyuh dury said let him come pandav will beg for his death. How irritating was that.
Abhi was brave enough to cross all the circles but they are showing as if it was dury and co. who made it easy for him to enter

I thought I will share the link here too as we discussed it sometime back..

Yes

When his sire Arjuna was withdrawn from the main body by the Samsaptakas (who challenged to fight him separately), Abhimanyu was surrounded by the enraged Kaurava heroes headed by Drona in battle. Then, O sire, after he had slaughtered a very large number of foes in battle, thy daughter's son at last succumbed to the son of Dussasana. Without doubt, he has gone to Heaven. Kill this grief of thine, O thou of great intelligence. They that are of cleansed understandings never languish when they meet with any calamity. He by whom Drona and Karna and others were checked in battle,--heroes that were equal to Indra himself in might--why would not he ascend to Heaven? O irresistible one, do thou kill this grief of thine. Do not suffer thyself to be swayed by wrath. That conqueror of hostile cities has attained in that sanctified goal which depends upon death at the edge of weapons. After the fall of that hero, this my sister Subhadra stricken with grief, indulged in loud lamentations, when she saw Kunti, like a female ospray. When she met Draupadi, she asked her in grief,--O reverend lady, where are all our sons? I desire to behold them. Hearing her lamentations, all the Kaurava ladies embraced her and wept sitting around her. Beholding (her daughter-in-law) Uttara, she said,--'O blessed girl, where has thy husband gone? When he comes back, do thou, without losing a moment, apprise me of it. Alas, O daughter of Virata, as soon he heard my voice, he used to come out of his chamber without the loss of a moment. Why does not thy husband come out today? Alas, O Abhimanyu, thy maternal uncles--mighty car-warriors--are all hale. They used to bless thee when they saw thee come here prepared to go out for battle. Do thou tell me the incidents of battle today as before, O chastiser of foes. Oh. why dost thou not answer me today--me who am weeping so bitterly?'--Hearing these lamentations of this daughter of the Vrishni race, Pritha, deeply afflicted with grief, addressed her and slowly said,--'O Subhadra, though protected by Vasudeva and Satyaki and by his own sire, thy youthful son has yet been slain. That slaughter is due to the influence of Time! O daughter of Yadu's race, mortal thy son was. Do not grieve. Irresistible in battle, thy son has, without doubt, attained to the highest goal. Thou art born in a high race of high-souled Kshatriyas. Do not grieve, O thou of restless glances, O girl of eyes like lotus-petals. Do thou cast thy eyes on Uttara who is quick with child. O blessed lady, do not yield to sorrow. This auspicious girl will soon bring forth a son to that hero. Having comforted her in this way, Kunti, conversant with every duty, O perpetuator of Yadu's race, casting off her grief, O irresistible one, made arrangements for Abhimanyu's obsequial rites, with the acquiescence of king Yudhishthira and Bhima, and the twins (viz., Nakula and Sahadeva) who in prowess resembled Yama himself. She also made many presents unto the Brahmanas, and bestowed upon them many kine, O perpetuator of Yadu's race, Then the Vrishni dame (Kunti), comforted a little, addressed the daughter of Virata, saying,--O faultless daughter of Virata, thou shouldst not indulge in grief. For the sake of thy husband, O thou of rotund hips, protect the child in thy womb.--Having said these words, O thou of great splendour, Kunti ceased. With her permission I have brought Subhadra here. It was even thus, O giver of honours, that thy daughter's son met with his death. Cast off thy burning grief, O irresistible one. Indeed, do not set thy heart on sorrow.'

Abhimanyu was the son of Arjuna and Krishna's sister, Subhadra. Although every Pandava had a child by Draupadi, and by other wives, his is the most popular tale of all, evoking great anguish.

When Subhadra was pregnant with Abhimanyu, she often sat beside Arjuna as he discussed the art of archery and war with Krishna. Simply by hearing his father speak, Abhimanyu mastered the art of archery and war while he was still in the womb. Thus he was already a great warrior by the time he was born.

As Arjuna was in the middle of explaining how to break the whirlpool battle formation or the Chakra-vyuha, Krishna interrupted Arjuna and made him leave Subhadra's side. As a result, Abhimanyu learnt only how to break into the formation, not how to break out. This event played a key role in the death of Abhimanyu sixteen years later. Why did Krishna interrupt Abhimanyu's learning? The reason for this has triggered many folktales across India.

According to one story, Abhimanyu was actually a Rakshasa. His demonic qualities would emerge if he was able to survive the Kurukshetra war. Krishna knew this and so, through this action, ensured his death in the war itself. According to another story, Abhimanyu was actually the son of the moon who was cursed to live on earth as a mortal. The moon missed his son so much that he begged Krishna to find a way to kill his son in the sixteenth year of his life. The only way to do so was to prevent him from learning the secrets of the Chakra-vyuha. The third, more sinister reading, is that Krishna knew how much Arjuna loved his son. Only the death of his son at the hands of his teacher would goad Arjuna to take the war more personally and fight more intensely.

Abhimanyu was barely two years old when the Pandavas gambled away their kingdom and went on their thirteen year exile; he was fifteen when they returned. It took a year to prepare for the war against the Kauravas, who refused to return the Pandava kingdom. Thus he was sixteen when the battle started.

Abhimanyu spent his childhood in Dwaraka with his uncles Krishna and Balaram. He fell in love with Balarama's daughter, Vatsala, also known in some versions as Sasirekha. But Balarama wanted his daughter to marry a man with property, not a gambler's son. So he invited Duryodhan's son, Laxman, to accept his daughter's hand in marriage. A heartbroken Abhimanyu appealed to Krishna who said he could not interfere, but advised the young boy to take the help of his wild cousin, Bhima's son by the Rakshasi Hidimbi, Ghatotkacha. Ghatotkacha carried both Abhimanyu and Vatsala out of Dwaraka and got them secretly married in the forest. Ghatotkacha then used magic to take the form of Vatsala. He presented himself in the wedding ceremony. When Balarama did the kanya-daan', Ghatotkacha squeezed Laxman's hand so hard that he fainted. When Duryodhana realized that Vatsala was actually Ghatotkacha, he was furious. Just as Subhadra had married Arjuna instead of him, Vatsala had married Arjuna's son instead of his. Duped a second time, the event further fuelled Duryodhana's hatred for the Pandavas.

When the Pandavas emerged from exile, Arjuna came with a gift for his son - a second wife, the princess Uttari of Matsya, daughter of Virata. The king wanted the princess to marry Arjuna but Arjuna felt she was more fit to be his daughter-in-law. Thus by the time the war at Kurukshetra was announced, Abhimanyu was a much married man with two wives. When he entered the battlefield, his second wife, Uttari, was already pregnant with Parikshit, the only descendent of the Pandavas who would survive the war.

On the 13th day of the war, Drona attacked the Pandava army with the dreaded Chakra-vyuha formation. The only warrior who could shatter this formation was Arjuna but Krishna had taken Arjuna to the far side of the battlefield to destroy the dreaded chariot-warriors, the Samsaptakas. The whirlpool soon surrounded the Pandavas. Yudhishtira was desperate. "Can no one break this formation?" he asked. Abhimanyu then revealed that he knew how to break into the formation, an act that would allow the Pandava army to escape. "But someone has to come back to save me as I do not know how to break out," he said. Yudhishtira promised to come to come to Abhimanyu's rescue once the army had escaped. Unfortunately,he was unable to do so; his path was blocked by Duryodhana's brother-in-law, Jayadhrath.

Trapped in the Chakra-vyuha, young Abhimanyu, fought like a lion. He killed Duryodhana's son, Laxman. But then, against all rules of war, he was attacked simultaneously by a number of Kaurava warriors. Karna broke his bow and chariot. The other warriors surrounded him as hyenas attack an injured lion. The Pandavas trapped outside could only hear his cries as he was hacked to death. The last blow was struck by Dusshasana's son. But before dying, Abhimanyu managed to kill him too.

"Beware of half-knowledge," is a line often used by gurus. And Abhimanyu serves as a classical example for this.

hey i found something interesting about ancient pregnancy tests 😆

In ancient egypt the women were akse dto urinate on barley and wheat, if barley grows then she is pregnant with a boy and if wheat grows fast then its a girls 😆

They used to also urinate on dandelion leaves.flowers and if their colour changed bingo they were 'garbhavati'😆
Ancient Egyptian women who suspected pregnancy were advised to urinate on wheat or barley seeds and monitor the seed's growth for a period of time. According to lore, if it was a female child, the wheat would grow, and a male child would cause the barley to grow. Scientific tests of this theory in 1963 revealed that it was proven successful 70 percent of the time, probably due to estrogen in pregnant women's urine. Unfortunately for those hoping to find out if they are carrying a boy or girl, the wheat and barley grew equally well, making this invalid as a gender prediction test.
