The end of the war did not mean the end of the story. There was the Ashwamedha yagna, which was a pretty major event. Then there was the final retirements of Dhritarashtra, Gandhari, Vidura & Kunti to the forest, where Vidura died, and the other 3 later died in a forest fire. During that visit, everyone got to see their dead relatives - DG met their 100 sons, the Pandavas met theirs, Kunti met Karna, Subhadra & Uttara met Abhimanyu & so on.

Although I understand that nobody has managed to figure out how to show Mausala parva. Somewhat disappointing, since everybody who knows the story knows the circumstances in which the Yadavas got destroyed, even if they can't come to terms w/ Krishna being killed. Even the last incident was said to be Angad's reincarnation doing what he failed to do - avenge his father's death.

As a result, we rarely get to see what followed - Arjun's defeat by some dacoits, and then the Pandavas mahaprasthanika yatra

What BS -- Is MB just that? A war and nothing else?
What about Parikshit getting revived

Gandhari trying to curse Yudhi -- Dhrtirashtra trying to kill Bheem? Gandharis curse to krishna? Ashwamedha yajna? fightbetween Arjun and Bavru? Krishna leaving earth -- Arjuna going to dwrika -- Arjuna doing Krishna's last rights? Pandavas great journey after Krishna leaves?

To be fair to ⭐️B, do you actually expect any mytho to show the Yadava fratricide? Even though everybody who's read it knows what happened, nobody would dare to show it, or else they'd be accused of blasphemy. Although this serial has successfully done that as well.

Vrish, why they will be accused of blasphemy? I'm sorry I don't know about Indian culture so much so I get curious as why Mahabharat remake rarely ends until Swargarohan Parva and Mahaprastanika Parva

I don't see why the channel or Creatives should be accused of blasphemy if they do show further...afterall, its a Universally known fact that the Mahabharat consisted of 18 parvas & the last (18th) one talks of the life of Krishna & aftermath..so the epic itself moves ahead so much further post the Kurukshetra..then why can't any version of MB on Indian TV continue further to show the entire set of Parvas of the MB? The channel n team would be first of its kind to do so...plus, am sure many of us youngsters who haven't read the MB in detail or have no info on what happens post war will get knowledge on the same too...surely "what happened post the Kurukshetra" is a question many of us would ask right? So no harm in doing so...
