what the hell did I just watch??
Anyway - my thoughts:
1) Is it just me or does Shikandini (female) fight better / act more strategically than Shikandi? I mean she galloped right into Ashwatthama's charging arms and she was being overpowered by him!! Then she was stabbed to the point of death by Shakuni (more on this later). And she wants to be the death of Bhishma ... yeah ... no.
2) StarBhim can only take only 1 big rock at a time. EpicBhim wouldn't be wasting his time smashing rocks ... he would be catching them and hurling them at Duryodhan.
3) What is with the frickin' dialogue!! Writers should have the easiest time during the war sequences because it's more action than dialogue, but apparently they must be getting paid by the number of actual dialogues they put in because every single dialogue that I have heard during this war (those challenge dialogues) is absolute garbage.
4) Rohit!!! CVs why do you only make him wield the spear. Give him the bow, the mace, the sword, the axe ... he's a BEAST!! claps for you!
5) The stab part is ridiculous. Not only does Shikandini not notice that Shakuni's hands were lowering, but she must have also missed the swing or the sound of the dagger being unsheathed. Which leads me to wonder if the dagger was really swung. Further, is Shakuni right or left handed. He seems to have stabbed her with his left, but if his right hand is more dominant, I doubt his left hand would have even been life threatening.
6) Abhi takes Shikandini back to camp. Assuming camp is on the far right side:
K camp -- [kurukshetra war ground] -- P camp
isn't that a huge trip that really is detrimental to the plan. The obvious solution was to take Shikandini to Arjun and throw her on his chariot. Abhi could then take on Drona while Arjun pursues (or rather approaches Bhishma) ... and then the whole "chaal" thing could take place. Shikandini would have died, but maybe she would have made it; while Bhishma would be on a bed of arrows. Either way, it would have been a worthwhile sacrifice.
7) Ooh Vidura is watching StarKshetra too! He's not crying too!!
8) Why writers/CVs why!! You gave our Pooja the most stupidest lines ever. "Uuthiye jiji uuthiye. Yaad kijiye X, yaad kijiye Y." Hopefully Nak/Sahadev show up tomorrow, but a part of me wants to laugh at Shikandini getting up because of Panchaali's lines. ooh sorry. I meant laugh "with" .. not "at" ... on a brighter note, I finally saw Pooja which makes me happy (she's shown up in previous episodes, but I usually stop watching before her scenes)
Million Dollar Question -- why is Shikandini still not married? I mean Panchaali was married ASAP, hell then again .. why isn't Dhristi married .. hmm ..
The actual war sequence isn't that exciting for me. I mean BRC might look boring, but I still love it. Ramanand Sagar's was just horrendous, and StarBharat has all this challenging chat which ruins the entire battle sequence. StarBharat - a tip: Make one episode, JUST ONE, where none of the warriors say a word other than "Saav-Dhaan" to each other when making their challenge. Focus more on the battles, less on the words.
