I think wat Devi Ganga meant is that, Bhishma was completely pavitra, with no sign of weakness in him.I liked the episode because of two things:
1. Real emotions with no OTT melodrama (except Bhima's crying face)2. Good dialogues and actingLoved Panchali, Kunti and Pandav scene: Kartavya sadaiv peedha deta hai, tabhi tho log kartvaya se bhaagte hain. Yeh yudh hamara kartavya haiPooja's voice modulation during that scene was really very good.Arjun-Pitamah scene was wonderful too.My fav was of course Ganga-Bhishma scene. The actress who plays Ganga is quite good and her performance always exudes mamtaa and maternal affection. However, some of her dialogues were confusing today. Did she say Bhishma didn't have moh (attachment) to anyone and that's why he couldn't empathize with other's weaknesses? I'll have to watch that scene again...if someone understood the gist of that dialogue, please explain.Dury as the commander who has to motivate his troops was natural but making the whole Drona vs Karna selection dramatic was not neededAll in all, a good episodeSP does a few things good: real emotions and dialogues. Have to give credit to them for these.
In order to understand someone else's flaws, one needs to have some flaws in himself. But Bhishma didn't have any. That is y, he always punished people for their flaws, but never tried to teach them in the right manner.
