Good to see this topic again after the Greatest Debate thread.😊😊

I have strongly believed from the beginning that Abhi was indeed 16 at time of the war because Lord Soma himself referred it in his wish. But the points in the first post are too strong to be said to be wrong. 👍🏼

It is a bit hard to imagine a 16 yr old having a kid. I've heard that in those days - till the age of 25 there was formal education, no man could fight before it and was considered a minor.

I,too, have asked a qu in reference to it that if attacking on woman was Adharma even after she is also a combatant and is allowing everyone to attack on her, then it should apply on children too as they both r generally preferred to be in the same class. Now,it really becomes a valid point which anyone can hardly answer with proper proof.😊

At first reading i certainly wouldnt have made that link not having the math mentality of thinking, but it has a sound reasoning to it
and that 33yrs then would equate to 16yrs in this age in proportion to the longevity where then people aged very late..but then theres the passage that seems to confirm his age as a 16 yr old, both passages contained within the same book, u cant help wonder how many people have distorted truth that what we are presented with is a mystery
i do somehow lean toward the idea of him being 33yrs of age howvever, its possible that the passage relating to Soma's story was altered for the kalyug understanding of life expectancy as it is in our era, which would render into 16yrs comparative to the 33 of the ancient Indian civilization
