@Thanks Nandini for the geeta gyaan😃
personally i have always thought of kurushetra war as a dharam yudh not for the reasons stated by ⭐️bharat .I mean at least to me it didnt seem like war has to be fought for betterment of soceity but yes it was dharam yudh since it was a war for justice for pandavas.Yes pandavas did make mistakes of their own but i think they atoned for it when they went to for exile away from luxuries burning in their own guilt they got punished for the mistakes they made. Now it was time for them to get justice and that is why its dharam yudh for me
Also another reason its dharam yudh is because of krishna ji's presence his reason for the war was divine which might be difficult for our mortal mind to comprehend.I remember reading in Jaya that when krishna ji takes his vishwaroop arjuna understand that krishna ji is like a vast ocean and this war is like a small wave in the ocean in other sense this war is a small part of the grandplan of god and all these warriors are just instruments of god to achieve that grand plan.In this case grand plan was establishing dharma under yudhishtir after the war panadvas did go in various directions to establish dharam also dharma was established through introduction of geeta.People may or many not follow the teachings of geeta that is up to us but atleast god from his side before the beginning of perhaps morally the worst yug kal yug has taught us the righteous way of living .Not following it is our choice
So for these reasons i have always considered this war to be a dharam yudh
but my main problem with ⭐️krishna's justifications yesterday was that he seems to indicate that if so many people are dying for new creation its ok.If this is not part of geeta then i have a problem with this justification. No matter what so many people innocent people dying cant be justified.Almost entire arayvrata was wiped out in this war it cant be justified by saying so what so many son's and husband's died new ones will come it sound too harsh. Its like glorifying this war which is not the case in the epic.I dont think ved vyas also tries to glorify this war .If that was the case he would have never written about the kind of restriction this war caused
so yes this war was dharam yudh but that cant be used as an excuse for the carnage this war caused
yes panadavs deserved justice no doubt yes they had to fight for justice but still their war for justice did cause a lot of innocent deaths this cant just be ignored as collateral damage but at end of the day if other's lost their family for panadavs war for justice so did panadavs. So i guess at end of the day all scales got balanced
