Beautiful post. Every word written for Karna is true.
I had tears after tomorrow's episode and ur post made me emotional again.
He was undoubtedly great , everyone just ask something from him but noone gave him anything not even his birth right.
He gave dan to all... Even to those who abandoned him ...
He gave daan to God. Lord Krishna supported Dharma and fought for justice but even he turned blind eye to Angaraj.

He was true hero and Will remain the one...

Karna is a character I never understood when I was younger. Maybe due to lack of understanding of grey shades, not understanding unfairness of the society, rejection and dejection.
First of all sn excellent post riti.
I applaud AHAM sharma for his excellent acting. He has put his soul into this character it seems and ss far as the actors of mahabharat are discussed, for me he is one of the best actors if the series.
Coming to karna, what can I say?? All I feel is so sad for whatever happened to him. He paid for his mother's mistake, societies caste system, wrath of the influential people, paid for being s good person.
The two blots that I see on his character is firstly the remark he made about draupadi. Secondly participation in abhimanyu vadh and lastly the pride of being a friend over dharma. But I say, during draupadi vastraharan everyone was guilty. Including pandavas. Abhimanyu vadh, everyone was guilty. And as for pride of being a good friend, the great pple at that time were all bound to false pride and promises. So I ask, was karna that guilty?
As himself he did not committ sins but when under peer pressure he may have sinned.
All that apart he had a heart that felt for his mother
Understood her pain. He had a heart to save his brothers from the pain of knowing the truth. He had the heart to give away his treasure with a smile. He had the heart to tell a woman that she has a better understanding if life compared to him. His wife.
A man who fought against the caste system in our culture. A man who fought the society and system which was blindly followed.
He fought for respect all his life and he was bestowed with respect when he died.
Krishna said that karna will always be a hero. An immortal hero. And it has been proven. He is still respected just like bhishma is respected despite having fought for the wrong people.
A hero.
If Krishna respected him to a certain extent and spared such immortal words for him I see no reason to not respect this man.
I personally enjoy watching all episodes of karna.

Hey kiara,

First of all so good to see you here again.Karna as character has always been close to my heart since childhood..Probably I didn't knew much on mistakes he did when I started liking him...And when I came to know of those blots u talked of...it was already too late for me to hate him...I do criticise him for those especially draupadi VH but I do consider like you...if he was wrong.. So were all that day...

As one of our friend commented here ...he was flawed yet respectable... He did few things in his life which makes him truly a hero for me...

Thanks for commenting dear...😊

the dirtiest thing in mahabharat is the barriers of religious status , barriers and questions about the equality of man and woman , it is really disgusting , yeah dharma have to be saved , what indra did was just a payback to evils of kauravas , ALL THIS TIME , IT WAS KARNA WHO GOT THE PAIN , IT WAS HIM , WHO GOT THE ABUNDONCE , IGNORANCE FOR LIFE , U R THE REAL HERO OF MAHABHARAT KARNA , MAY UR SOUL REST IN PEACE ,
