If that would be the case then pandavas would remain slaves because then it would be fair and square(assuming shakunis cheating is unknown). But draupadi would never except it!!.And most probably Bheem would kill Duri someday while cleaning his room in Jayadarth style.Then there is Bhishm to free them somehow!😊
