Mahabharata written update
31st May 2014

Karna is mislaid in thoughts and is having flashbacks of Duryodhana's and Surya Dev's words about his armour. He spots and moves ahead to greet a Brahmin who is actually Indra in disguise. The Brahmin tells him that he's travelling to discover something that is invisible as well as visible, good as well as evil, sacred as well as unsacred, soft at the same time strong. Karna replies that it's his armour and ear rings and identifies Indra. Indra clarifies to him that he will land the next morning to obtain his armour. Karna questions him that isn't his son skilled to battle in opposition to him? Indra tells Karna that his son doesn't panic him; a father's heart has caused worries and hence brought him here. Karna further utters that he shouldn't act biased as he's lord to which Indra questions his capability to battle without his divine armour. Then Karna declares to Indra that it isn't about him but his friend Duryodhana who depends upon his armour and he even promised his friend to shield him using his armour. Indra then states that this particular issue is to be sorted by him, he has to settle on that which particular promise is greater, and he'll wait tomorrow morning. Indra leaves while Karna wonders what to do.

Krishna and Arjuna are waiting for the sunrise. Arjuna wonders that why Surya Dev didn't rise yet when the correct moment has arrived. Krishna utters that the war isn't just here but everywhere, when a heart gets filled with darkness of conflict even the sun can't produce light. Arjuna questions him that why Surya's heart would be amid conflict? Krishna replies to him that it's due to a deep emotional attachment (Moha) that further leads to struggle and then an expectation for triumph follows. He further utters that no matter whether it's life or a battle, victory can be achieved using three weapons alone, dharma, patience and courage. A disguised Indra arrives and states that the fourth weapon is opportunity. He further appreciates Krishna's attempts to accomplish dharma and states that he would like to offer his share in this war. Arjuna tells him that only blood can be sacrificed in this war, Indra agrees and utters that he will do that only. His alms will become an opportunity. He moves away leaving Arjuna in uncertainty.

Karna arrives at the Ganges beach and tells Surya Dev that this entire world is his, all are his children and they all ought not to have to be ill with for one son of his. Once Lord Hanuman had consumed him and the whole world had endured darkness. While he's speaking to Surya, Indra arrives. Karna continues and further requests Surya to let him take his decisions himself as everyone gets deprived of a father's shadow at a particular lapse and then only they undergo the tests. Even tree gets deprived of its leaves once, let the world test him. Nobody will say that he took Surya's help as it'll be a blemish on him, it's better to die a respectable death. He again requests Surya to rise and accept his arghya, sunrise occurs.

Karna spots Indra and approaches him. He then utters that he will surely give his son an opportunity to win, sunlight doesn't become paler a bit after giving so even his valor won't diminish, ask.

Scene alters to Krishna and Arjuna. Arjuna is lost in thoughts thinking about the Brahmin's words and wonders that what alms will become an opportunity to him, the Brahmin said that dharma is hidden, patience is lost and courage is slumber sans an opportunity. Krishna states that dharma, courage and patience are worthless if an opportunity becomes basic. Arjuna asks him that why he accepted the Brahmin's alms then? Krishna states that his words were true, each and every involvement matters in this war. Arjuna moves towards Uttar and takes his bow to destroy all the armours placed for practice. Uttar appreciates him and adds that nothing but divine armour can escape his arrows. This particular statement strikes Arjuna's mind, he looks at Krishna and then rushes towards a direction while Krishna just stares on.

Precap: Karna takes a knife to remove his armour.
