Ok I repeat the question.. how whole hearted is Krishna's effort to bring Karna to Pandava side? In Starplus Mahabharat? or is that only to weaken him? Yeah I know he s already weak in the name of Kuntima but still...

You know he might have been a sensitive soul underneath all that bluster. He may not have wanted to hurt Bua Kunti's feelings😆

@Diala - I think StarKrishna is genuine, but there is no downside for him... Karna will flip or be left weakened. Its one of those rare win-win situations. Also anyone wanna bet "sakhi" won't be an incentive in StarB

and that was not a defeat definitely
He fled away from Chitrasena who was a gandhrwa

At the end of the day, that is what it was -- defeat.
same in the swayamvar case -- why he withdrew, what made him do it -- his business, but if he backs off then he accepts his defeat. If he desists from fight due to fear of brahma weapon -- well, that is his problem. Couldnt face it -- withdrew -- there, he lost. it is not like Arjuna threw a tantrum at his birthday that he wants brahma weapon for gift and got it -- he earned his weapons through his own hard work, merit and abilities. So it is not his fault that he is using weapons and people get scared of it -- it is the opponents problem if they cant handle it.

And the drunk this is the stupidest excuse ever -- not anyone's problem if people decide to get stoned in the middle of the forest. Aren't warriors supposed be on alert -- you would expect them to hold their liquor even if they get drunk. And they could be drinking what? alcohol, vodka?
Wine probably -- because during khandavadahan -- all the women on holidays with arjun-krishna were getting drunk on it too. they too went on war with indra -- wine would hardly affect anyone harshly -- Karna did fight and did it just fine -- all precise and sharp -- but then he ran away -- Gandharvas were able to break his chariot too.
so what? the liquor started affecting suddenly out of no where? sudden urge to throw up?

And if chitrasena used mumbo-jumbo to petrify him -- well couldnt have been too strong -- he still managed to flee even in that state. running away is accepting defeat due to fear for life. It is not chitrsenas fault that he has powers -- he has them so he will use them -- now it is up to you if you will be able to handle it or not.
And the end he chose to flee rather than stay with duryo, well nothing wrong with saving your own life -- and it was not just Duri but his women and other people too who had come with them.
Had it no been for Arjuna and Bheema, who knows what would have happened to Duryodhana and his wives and everyone who came with him.

@Bold I hope not. That is the ONE MAJOR THING in the actual epic that left a bad taste in my mouth. There is a book 'Krishna, the God who lived as a man' in which it is Rukmini who asks Krishna to add that in his conversation with Karna. Krishna does not like it but does it as he trusts his wife's judgement. There is a heartbreaking conversation between Sakhi and Krishna about this too.

from what he said to Gandhari yesterday, this effort is not to make K flip but to quit the war itself..

No one would bet on that.. Krishna too needs some WW 😳

I'll be a rebel. I'll take you up on 6 choco-chip imaginary cupcakes that "sakhi" WILL be used as an incententive in StarB

On a side, and totally unrelated, note: isn't this the cutest monkey you've ever seen:
