A really satisfying episode.
1) I really like Devki and Vasudev - how did SP end up with such a treasure trove of talent. Devki's shock and fainting was actually believable
2) I like the surprise on their faces and the slight wariness on seeing the peacock feather outside the window. I also liked the fact that both of them were speechless in awe. Most of these characters are in love with their own voices usually.
3) It really felt like a MAYA night
4) I loved it when Krishna said the balidaan was Vasudev and Devki's and not the babies'.
5) I also loved it when he admitted that they havent smiled since the death of the first baby. No sugar coating the truth here. Sacrifice hurts, otherwise its no sacrifice
6) Prativindhya called Krishna, Mamashree (correct me if I am wrong, isnt he actually their Chachashree as he is the Pandav's cousin?) That was a little Aww moment for me
Very few nits to nick -
7) While I liked the side play between Krishna and Panchali, NO ONE ELSE in the sabha seems to notice who he is talking to. I had the same complaint with the cave episode. Have the rest of them gone blind and deaf?
8) The make up department has not noticed or what, that Vishnu's face is blue and the arms white (sort of)?
9) For a fully pregnant woman, Devki was kneeling with ease
10) Vishnu's Vamanavtar is a sore point for us Malayalis. This is the second time I have heard SP mention it.
