I wondered when you became a Bengali 😆 I know that story from Karnan movie.. supposedly from Villi Bharatham.. Vidura, I dont understand how he managed to live with Dhrid all the years inspite of difference of opinion..

Hastinapur's wealth was the major reason why these great warriors and counselors sided with them.

I read a citation in which Bhishma said that he is bound to Hastinapur by wealth, Drona, as we all know, was already under the debt of Hastinapur and Karna got Anga - and hence got indebted to Duryodhana. Vidura's case is quite similar I think, he ate their 'Namak'.

Okay...Dury wanted Karna to be senapati, so that part was close to the epic.

But Drona staging a walkout??

Granted my knowledge of the epic is not that fine-tuned in terms of the minute details, but surely there are no citations for Drona's walkout, right? 😕

a walkout with his son still fighting .. that's not the Drona we know (not really an answer to your question though 😛)

Why will Drona walk out? Kripa was never made a senapati and mind it he too was Guru for Kaurava Pandavas.. was he offended when Karna and Shalya were made senapatis? 😕

Everyone knew what kind of capabilities the other warrior had, and for Karna - his achievements were better compared to Drona, Bhishma and Kripa, his Digvijay was equivalent to Pandavas Rajsuya. Drona wouldn't have minded one bit if Karna would have been appointed the Commander.

Star Drona seemed insulted when Duryodhana appointed Karna the leader.

[ I am not claiming that Karna was better than Drona,Bhishma & Kripa, its just that his achievements were better compared to them ]

I actually liked today's Episode for so many Positives shown..considering the amount of distortions we got to see in the past few days!! Lols..

But Bhim...really wish they shortened his sob scenes...because he looks like Kiddo..at time constipated...ROFL...

Drona's walkout was...Duh! I mean...u r Guru...u know what befalls Dury in the coming days for his evil deeds & u expect him to do justice with u? Why do u think the war is on? Surely after so many acquisitions on Bhishm for being partial to the Pandavas, Dury wasn't gonna make u Senapathi anyways!! But we wouldn't expect a personality with aura like urs to stage a walkout..Lols..and Aswathama's expressions were to watch out for!

And Mamashree...hehe...was he expecting to be Senapathi? Lols..

Loved the Ardi scenes they had together today...Shaheer n Pooja Rocked it completely!! The emoting..display of pain n emotions was perfect...

Awaiting the Parav scene tomorrow!
