Both Friday's & Saturday's episodes were 'meh'!!!

I didn't get the point of Saturday's episode - were they trying to blackwash or whitewash Gandhari? Since they skipped her confrontation w/ Yudhi & Bhima, they had her gatecrash the rajyabhishek instead & heap abuse on Krishna? Fine, but then, once she had cursed him, what was the point in depicting her as regretting doing it, when the real Gandhari regretted nothing?

In the real epic, Gandhari was totally out of her mind - pointing to Krishna the suffering Pandava as well as Kaurava womenfolk. The latter was one thing, but it was Dury who caused suffering to any Pandava women - Subhi/Uttara, Draupadi, Hidimbi, et al - which makes her blaming Krishna so ridiculous. Finally, she cursed him for not stopping the war.

Krishna's response was as pathetic - saying that when Dury's thighs were hit, it was he who cried. And then, for this finale, we are subjected to more minutes of his stupid gyan. I just wish they had shown a leap in which Gandhari's curse materialized. It was a pathetic ending to one of the worst depictions of the epic to date, and a good part of me is glad it's all over.

Episode got over?😲 Really??😕 Are we actually on the Last & Final Episode of this Epic?😲😕😭 Its hard to Believe..Time seems to have flown away without a realization of how this Amazing show was fast drawing to an end! I feel Devastated & am all Teary!😭😭 Really didn't want this show to end!!😒 Because that would not just mean a Great show ending on TV, it wouldn't only mean that i wouldn't have anything to look forward to from Monday😔..n most importantly, it means that this Awesome Star Cast..one of its kind..will never come under one Magnanimous Show like this, as one Rocking Team!!😭😭😭 I'm Gonna Miss this show & this Superb Star Cast like Crazy!!🤗😭 I feel Empty & it still hasn't sunken into me that this Great Journey is actually..over!!😭 Don't even have the heart to say this!!😭😭😭

What an Episode that was!!👏 The highlights of course being the Krishna Seekh😳😃👏..unfortunately for one last time😭..& the Govind-Gandhari Convo👏👏👏..I'm a little disappointed with Star Plus though😭..why couldn't they give this Epic show, that's earned them one of the Best TRPs & Revenues, a whole Hour to complete?🤔😒 Why just the usual Half Hour slot for this Epic?😭 There was so much to show..all of it was cut short to such an extent!😭😭 I didn't even know when the Episode started & ended!!😲 It was all over in a jiffy!😔 Everyday Drama Soaps too get An Hour's Episode when the show goes off air..but ending a Huge show like MB within Half an Hour was disappointing!😭😭😭 Agreed that Star Plus has given the show 2 extensions already👍🏼..but i seriously, wouldn't mind another extension for a Great show like this!!👏👏👏 The Channel could've allowed the MB team to make this show unique & different from other MBs we've had on TV so far..they could've continued with the story of the MB post the War & Coronation of Yudhi as the King of Hastinapur, to show the AshwaMedh Yagya, how the Pandavs ruled, Parikishit, Krishna's death, & of course then the Mahaprasthan!👍🏼 Even if the show had been extended till Sept, the entire thing could've been shown to us, the audience..👏👏

The Episode belonged to Krishna🤗..I Loved the Krishna Seekh when the show began😊..& i Loved the Krishna Seekh even today🥳..it made me nostalgic😳😭..the Superb BG scores of Govind's flute, Vijay song during Yudhi's RA (Raja Di Rajaya) & the MB title song👏..all playing for one last time😭..I hate saying this!😭😭 I can only imagine what everyone must have gone thru' post the shoot..no wonder they were all so Low😭..n no wonder that SRJ broke down!😭🤗😭 As a mere spectator I'm unable to control my emotions & can't believe the show has wrapped up😭😭..so soon at that! I would eagerly wait to run up to the TV when the show would start..watching it with the family..but now..just a day before Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the show entirely draws to an end..😭😭😭

Continuing..the Episode began with Yudhi's Abhisheik😊..Govind had such a peaceful smile on His face😳..Loved Draupadi's Determined look🥳..n those Eyes..it was a proud moment for her, watching her husband finally get back all that he had lost, after a gruesome battle👏👏..they all looked a little tired too, which was aptly depicted, the Pandavs having returned from warfare..the actors were looking a little emotional already😭..An emotional Drith letting Vidhur do the honors in crowing Yudhi King of Hastinapur👍🏼..& Vidhur aptly requesting Govind to crown Yudhi, praising Him for having brought about this change in Aryavarta👏👏👏..Loved how Govind said "Avashya"😳😊..really going to Miss that coming from Govind's mouth from now on😭😭..And Govind looking at towards the entrance😕..awaiting the arrival of Gandhari as he mouthed: "It'll be right & in the benefit of everybody that i crown Yudhishtir as King"..Krishna knew about Gandhari's curse..He was prepared to accept it..and as per His Leela, that was the way it was meant to be! I Loved Govind's Eyes, searching at the entrance, yet strong & determined to take whatever comes His way👏👏👏..n that smile in crowning Yudhi..😳

Gandhari unable to control her emotion hearing about Krishna crowning Yudhi..runs to the Sabha to stop Krishna😕..was she filled with rage & anger, not wanting Krishna to crown Yudhi..she wouldn't even listen to Drith..n then came "The Curse"😲😕😭..Gandhari mouthing: "I know there's no one as powerful as Krishna..if it wasn't for Him, then the Pandavs wouldn't have won..this war wouldn't even have taken place..He was the one who saved Draupadi's Dignity during the DS..but despite all that Power, why did you let this Yudh happen? With so Much "Chhal" & "Kapat"..why did you allow so much Injustice to take place? Listen to all the pain & endless cries from the war..the Biggest Adharm in the Kurukshetra has been done by You Vasudev..you are the one actually deserving of punishment.." 😕My heart poured out to Govind as he quietly took in everything that Gandhari gave him😭😭😭..with calm & composure👍🏼..and Draupadi seemed to have reminisced the days of the DS when Gandhari mentioned about Govind saving Her on that fateful day..😭

And then..the Mahatapasvini, Mahayogini..and Gandhari called herself Mahaabhagini Mata..cursed Govind😲😒😭..even Drith & Arjun couldn't stop her😕..Gandhari cursed Govind that just like her clan ws destroyed, Govind's Yadav clan will be destroyed in the same manner😭..the entire Yadav clan will drink each other's blood like animals😕..& the Yadav children will cry like little helpless calves😒..there won't be anyone to wipe their tears off..she curses Govind that His Dwarka would eventually drown under the sea😭..and Govind Himself would die in a forest, weaponless..!😭 The curse was so strong & Painful, yet as against the rest of them present there, Krishna took it all in..with a Smile on His face😊..Draupadi & Arjun were worried for Krishna..Subhi unable to bear it all😭..no one else would have been able to handle such a Big curse & blame the way Krishna did!! 👏

Draupadi & the Pandavs were shocked to hear of that curse..& it was only when Drith mentioned about it, did Gandhari realize what she had just done😕..Arjun mouthing: "It would have been better if you had cursed us Pandavs to burn away in Hell..but you've orphaned the entire world with such a Gory curse to Madhav"😭😭..his Love, Respect & Concern for Madhav so Evident🤗..only Krishna smiled thru' it all..😳😭

Despite all that, when Gandhari broke out seeking Govind's forgiveness for the curse she spit at Him, in the pain & hurt of having lost all her 100 sons, Govind's heart went out to her😭..really Loved how Govind runs up to Gandhari & picks her up saying she hadn't done anything wrong😭😭..and that Govind-Gandhari embrace🤗👏..Govind holding Gandhari to calm her down & reassure her..Loved that bit👏👏👏..had me in tears at Govind's Bigheartedness & Beauty of His Being!🥳😭 Loved how Gandhari clung on to him tightly😊..also Loved the way Madhav justified Gandhari's pain & told her how equally hurt, pained & affected he was with all those deaths & destruction👍🏼..Krishna telling Gandhari that it was only He who had borne both the Happiness of Victory & Sadness of Loss & Failure..😭😭

Govind had me in tears when He told Gandhari with a smile that He was only her Enemy..but He was also her Friend..& her Son.😭😭.that He was the one who had cursed Ashwi, & was experiencing that Curse Himself..And Govind mouthing: "I have always taken the Blessing of so many mothers..& so today..I Vasudev Krishna, accept even a Mother's Curse..'😒😭 it wrenched my heart to hear that from Govind😭..& He was smiling thru' it all with folded hands🤗..And that promise He gives Gandhari to use his Sudarshan Chakra the first thing when it was time for the destruction of His clan😕..that must've been so hard on Govind!😭😭😭..and when Gandhari repented for that curse, Govind reassured her that it wasn't her fault because she was only a "Nimmith" in the entire situation..the destruction of the Yadav clan was bound to happen because its Time who decides on the Blessing or Curse one gets👍🏼..Gandhari was still holding on to Krishna😭😳..Kunti questioned Govind on whether He would be destroying Dwarka..the land He toiled to establish & bring to Prosperity..Govind tells her that it was not He, but Time that will destroy the Yadav clan as per Nature😭..And then..Krishna announces the formation of one nation with one Ruler👏..The "Bharat Rashtra"..bringing about Equality & Oneness among all..🥳

For One last time😭..we had the Super Special Krishna Seekh!👏👏👏 I'm so going to Miss Govind's Seekh after each Episode!😭😭😭 The effect of that scene was enhanced with the darkness created around the sets, spots focusing only on the Magnanimous Krishna🥳..am going to Miss that Flute song that they played for Govind & during the Seekh🤗..soul stirring👍🏼..it reminded me of the First time they Introduced Krishna on the show with the Flute, talking to us👏👏👏..Memories!!😳😭 Going to Miss this so much!!😭😭😭 Loved everything Govind said👏👏..about the MB depicting so many truths..about Divide being the cause of Adharm while Unity being the base for Dharm👍🏼..And Govind asking us questions & mouthing "Swayam Vichar Kijiye"😳..Govind's Winning Smile all thru' had me in tears😭🤗..Am i really going to watch this & hear all this for the last time today??😕 Someone please tell me that MB will be back on screens from Monday..even they show a repeat from Episode 1!😭 I will watch it all, like doing it for the first time & come over to discuss the Episodes with a new perspective!

Loved how Govind spoke of Man doing everything in this Materialistic world for his family..for the Love he has for them😊..Man's family is the reason for his happiness & he only does good for them..but Man ends up doing Injustice with the society.because Man doesn't consider Society as a reason for his happiness, but as a means of his happiness..n that's where the entire difference lied👍🏼..But when Man realizes that everyone is a Creation of God & every being, a part of the Supreme Lord, everything & everyone becomes One, with no differences👏👏👏..Loved the Seekh on One Family.."Vasudaiva Kutumbakam"🥳..such Oneness leaves no scope or requirement for hatred, revenge or war😊👏..The basis of Dharm is God on the Inside of Man & Unity / Oneness on the outside👏..Loved how Krishna summarized the entire journey of MB & what its given to Mankind..🤗

Krishna thanking everyone for walking with Him on this journey🤗..had me tears again😭😭..& those Blessings to the people & the world😊..felt so Divine!!👏 I have Loved how this MB has always given us so much to think & take back as Humans, as a Society to better ourselves👍🏼..this Learning thru' the Krishna Seekh has only made the show a Class apart & our Lives so much better🥳..I will be taking back so many memories & learning from the show👏🤗..i hope to apply these in my everyday life😊..& try to become a better human being thru' it..Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi😳..Loved how the camera zoomed in on Krishna's face👏👏👏..Going to Miss my Krishna so so much!😭😭 And everything about the show will be Missed too😭..have Loved watching this Epic👏👏👏..this Amazing Star Cast🤗..this Rocking Team!🥳 Also going to Miss Krishna's Classic "Mor Pankh" that floats before & after the Krishna Seekh..🤗

Finally Govind crowns Yudhi & the Coronation gets completed👍🏼..Panchali & Samrat take to their thrones to rule Hastinapur..while the rest of the Pandavs & family stand in support..like pillars of strength👏👏👏..with this, its time for a New Beginning😃..the MB title track playing one last time stirred me👏😭..and those dancers😉..looked modern but added to the effect of the Coronation😳😃..That picture Perfect moment of the Pandav Family in the end🥳..& the show ending with Govind's Everlasting Smile🤗..Loved it!!👏 But it made me so Emotional!!😭😭😭

It was SRJ all the way today!🥳 What range of Emotions did he portray today!👏And Nailed Every bit of it🤗..i could imagine what he & the rest of the crew must've been going thru' on the last day of shoot..yet he never let it show till the shots were called in & it was all over & done with👏👏👏..Every Expression Bang On, the Eye-Talk, that Killer of a Smile🥳..The Twinkle in Krishna's eyes during the Seekh😳..the Emoting..the display of Determination, Pride, Happiness, Victory, Pain..all played to Perfection by SRJ as Always!👏 He has left a lasting impression on me..I Loved just how Divinely beautiful SRJ Looked in Blue & Gold!👏..there's a lot i take as learning from SRJ's personality as a whole😊..He Rocked as Krishna🤗..& He has personified the Supreme God Head for me!!🥳 He's my Krishna & always will be🤗..Complete justice done to his Role👏👏👏..i Loved how SRJ was Glowing even more than other days today👏👏👏..it was like the light & Divinity of the Lord had seated in him😳..Love SRJ Loads!🤗 Am going to Miss SRJ..i'm going to Miss my Krishna like crazy!!😭

Pooja🤗..i really wish she had atleast one line to mouth today..but yet she made her mark with just the expression & Eye-Talk..which she Rocks at!👏..she did look Emotional😭😭..Pooja's eyes can speak volumes👏👏👏..I so so so Love her to Bits!!😳😳She truly is Super Gorgeous with immense talent!!👏 I am thankful to the PH & the Casting team that they finalized on Pooja to play Draupadi🥳..because it couldn't have got Bigger & Better than this!!🤗 Pooja nailed every bit of her scenes👍🏼..give her any range of Emoting to do, & she'll play it to Perfection!!👏👏👏 She's my Fiery Eyes🤗..& My Fiery Draupadi🥳..and will always continue to be My Rockstar!! I will Miss her Heaps😭😭😭..and really hope to see her bagging some real Great projects!!👏👏👏 Can't believe i won't be seeing her playing the Fire Princess anymore!! 😭

Shaheer was great with the Emoting, with those Eyes & the Expressions!👏 He's grown so much as an actor on this show🥳..have Loved him as Arjun!🤗 His chemistry with SRJ & Pooja made all of their scenes so Special & Memorable!😳👏👏 I'm surely Going to Miss him so much!😭😭😭 If only we had had some special ArDi moments on the show😳..it would've been an icing on the cake!!😉👏

Riya Deepsi👏👏👏..must say..she's not just beautiful but one Amazing actor👏👏..WOW!! I so Loved her as Gandhari! And with such wide range of emotions to portray today🥳..from anger & rage to emotion, tears & break down..Riya Rocked every bit of it!👏 She was Perfect👍🏼..i Loved the Body Language, Voice & Tone Modulations & the Enacting!🤗 She was Awesome..n i'll Miss her too!😭😭😭

Anoop was Great as the matured old King Drith👏..not once did he make us feel he wasn't playing it right considering how young an actor he is!!🥳 He rolled it every time he emoted!!👍🏼 Hat's off to him for the Amazing Enacting!👏

Loved all the Actors on this show🤗..Shafaq, Rohit, Praneet, Pallavi, Saurav, Vin, Lavanya, Arpit, Nirbhay, Paras, Arav, & the rest of the Cast who've been associated with this show!👏 This show was an Epic & I Loved it!!🤗 Thank you Swastik Productions & Star for giving us this Spectacle!👏..No other show on Indian TV has had such a Superb team of Actors!👏 You Guys Rock!!🥳 ..This show will go down in History & be remembered for all the times to come!🤗Please come back with more shows and we hope to see most of the Amazing MB cast in your up coming shows as well..😳😳

My thoughts exactly wrt to Gandhari's reaction. Does Dhritarashtra repent his actions in the epic too? Both of them did such a 360 degree turn in their behaviour that it was hard to believe their regret was genuine. It's one thing to be overcome by rage and angst and do something in the heat of the moment without giving much thought to the consequences and another thing to meticulously plan the whole thing, only to regret it 2 minutes later.

Loved the very last review of our very own mahabharat!!! You made me cry all over again by this review!! The place holds mahabharat hold for me is really special!! Whenever i am low or decision less my govind hepled me through krishna seekh!! No matter how sad i am, i always smiled for the sentence, "swayam vichaar kijiye"!!! No serial can take place or MB or DKDm in my heart!! Distortions only made it give a better message to the society!!Will thoroughly miss all members the cast specially SRJ, pooja and shaheer! And definitely missing krishna, his seekh, yagyaseni samragyi draupadi and gandivdhaari arjun! Happy janmasthami!!
