The citations provided above itself say that Arjuna did not defeat gandharvas, he did not hold Chitrasena 'by his collar', No-where it is written that Arjuna routed Chitrasena, Chitrasena introduced himself to Arjuna and the fight was stopped. Note that the fight was not over but stopped by Chitrasena.

Deathbed citations have already been provided, The conversation between Bhishma and Karna itself say that Bhishma deliberately every time insulted Karna

yup, about why bhishma fought along with kaurav against pandavs which was not needed.

This is what happens when you dig a hole and get trapped in it yourself. That's what's happened with the Cvs here. By changing the original story and essence of the characters, they're desperately trying to justify themselves and justify the actions of their characters.

Total hopeless episode...are they really mad ? how they think that Bhishma never come ? Bhishma didn't do anything in dice game becoz of his pratigya then how he would not come when he declares war against kauravas??
