Usually acknowledgements of any book and appendix refer to its source. Ramesh menon non states kmg, and other older texts of MB as his spurce. While authors of mrityunjay, panchajanya, poi, yajnaseni states it as their point of view.
One clearly is mb, other is clearly authors view. Forcefully making them same will not make them same
