BTW, I've read somewhere that Virat was a relative of satyavati. Satyavati's family was also from Matsya kingdom. So, Satyavati's dream of having her heir on the throne did materialize in the end (Uttara's son)

Just shows that our wish will eventually come true- if not in this lifetime then at some point in the cycle of life and karma

I was trying to find which all kingdoms were on kaurava and oandava side but google is not giving satisfactory result

Also I just read that kashi was on Pandava side. I wonder why

Does any one know about ths????

Am not sure if there were more than one Chedi Kingdom.. but Uparichara her biological father was a Chedi King.. The citation is big.. looks like her twin brother was named Matsya

Bhim married a Kashi princess.. so they were on Pandava side.. a portion of Kashi army fought for Kauravas too.. discussed in D&D thread # 2
