Yes, The Three Krishnas were all dark skinned.
I don't know how people missed that fact because in most of the ancient paintings, one of the Pandavas with bow is of bluish skin like Krishna ...
Rajasthani, mughal etc. paintings always show him with blue skin ...

It was quite frustrating when people kept claiming that Arjuna Was fair skinned because Arjuna means fair ... i really wanted to hit someone

Arjuna was his name more because of his personality, nature ... Arjuna is bright, silver, stainlesswhite ...
A description of his personality ...

Actually Pooja Sharma is quite dusky, if not dark.

She appeared to be fair, in the first few episodes, due to lots of makeup.
But actually she's dusky.

Like many claimed, I just think all the actors have a layer of sun going on there on their skins! Haha, the first few episodes, Pooja was fair aswell :D

That's the interesting part. In ancient India, dark was considered more beautiful. The British invasion changed the perception of beauty in our country forever. Even SP has cast three very fair people for the roles of the three Krishnaas

Very true bheegi...but bluish skin would look good only in paintings..If they had painted the actors with blue/black in SB none of us gonna enjoy that..
More than the complexion they focused on talent and I feel all three shaheer,Sourabh and Pooja are perfect for their roles..👏

Poor shah :(
We will all send him fairness creams and gharelu nuskhas so that he can have his original fairness back.
@rushi wow.Look at him.Fair and handsome.
Now he is dark and handsome.
His tan became glaringly visible since that scene with subhadra on the dwarka beach when he got that letter for kunti.

Doesn't it tell tell about our deep seated affinity for fair skin, when all the characters who were supposed to be dark skinned, are played by fair skinned actors? And you are right, their beauty lied in the fact that they had dusky skin!

I don't know about the British angle, but there has been research on this showing why historically fair skin was preferred over dark skin in tropical countries. This does not stand true for ancient India however. But that also depends on the skin colour of ancient Indians. (which brings into question migration theories from central asia into India) After all dark and fair skin are only relative.
