It's not just a matter of "boring" questions. But, isn't it a bit silly to ask the son of Yamaraj about the meaning of life and death? Like seriously? That's like a kindergarten-level question for him...
If CVs REALLY wanted to "tweak" the Yaksha Prashna for the 21st century audience, then the Yaksha should've actually asked Yudi if he STILL viewed the dice game to be "dharma"(especially after knowing and being fully aware of what has happened to Panchali)...THAT would've been the REAL test for ⭐️Yudi in the ⭐️Yaksha Prashna.
After all, in the epic, the Yaksha Prashna is basically a test of Yudi's understanding of the essence of dharma. So, what better way to test ⭐️Yudi's "dharma gyaan" by posing questions about the "dharma" in the dice game (when he now knows exactly what happened in the dice hall)?
