rickks...it is just a show...but just think even the great warriors and kings who lost thier land have to surrender and the men will invade their kingdom..the first place they would go is where the princess and queen lives..juts imagine girl it happened for real in our land..not just in our country this happened in that era of kings rule...
..women are thier properties...sometimes when the queen or the princess get to knew about the defeat of their respective husbands along with other workers especially female workers they would just use the secret path and go and hide themselves in the cave...they would never come out and they will die there itself...this was the condition of women every where...THEY ARE TREATED LIKE A N OBJECT OF PLEASURE...

So true Shalon (Sorry don't know your name😊 )...but more than them, I was angered by the silence of the men who claim to be her husband, who swore to protect her honor and always treat her with love and respect.

Pooja Sharma was outstanding 👏 👏 👏 The scene where she looks up only to see her Husband stand with their heads bowed down...OMG she nailed it

i put this up on my fb status...copying this here too
Mahabharat...phenomenal is the word for today's show...i loved loved loved the whole presentation of it and how beautifully yet how evilly they showed draupadi being brought at sabha...the dialogues of draupadi were great today...that yudishithir had no adhikar to put me at stake if he had lost himself...and i could see the fiery draupadi who actually spoke besst dialogues today...really looking forward to more...and the promo of draupadi verbally bashing all her husbands seems to be just a trailor now..we can see more of it coming...and the way in promo draupadi calls her all husbands nirbal...i could feel today how useless they had become...and beeshama ,drona ,vidur all remained just crying throughout...what irony ...bolne ko to bohot kuch bola but jab karne ki baari ayi no one had any strength to stop this...and for yudhishtir who is considered dharam raj where did your dharam go when draupadi was about to get disrobed..was that dharam for you and other than yudhishtir even arjuna bheema nakul sehdev all are equally responsible ...was their unity of being 5 brothers so important that they forgot a woman's honor is above all of it societal relationships...even a mother and son...and here the woman is question not just some other woman but their wife draupadi...who had always stood with them in all their ups and downs...as was shown...and now you actually have guts to see her getting humiliated in public ...getting disrobed by your cousins just so that your so called bhaichara isnt questioned...wow just wow...

We respect Mahabharat, we call it the book that has teaching of life, but today when seeing this particular episode I wondered what is there to be proud of??? I know that what happened was the stage set up for a bigger drama, but nonetheless the fact that nobody stood up for Draupadi, that such great warriors chose to keep their hands tied was painfully shocking.

I can still hear Draupadi's cries, the staircase dragging was the worst...Oh God

If this does not make us angry , what will make us angry. We have every right to be angry, and raise a question about Pandavas' silence? No more justifciation

the same applies to Rama sending Sita back to jungle. How could he abondon his wife?

All fictions- we revered male characters- not time to question these acts that are so deep rooted

I completely agree...

They had no right? Did Sita ask Rama for his character certificate? NO!!! Even today women have to prove themselves but the same does not apply to Men.

Dharma is about being dispassionate and doing your duty without any emotion.
Kudos to star plus team for portraying Dice game and Draupadi's apman clearly.

Draupadi's shouts sent chills in spine.
Awesome performances.

am sorry for butting into this convo...but what people mean by mahabharat has teaching of life means learning from mistakes our biggest heroes of those times did...and do not repeat those same errors cum mistakes again...but as they say people never learn...

Wanted to chop Dushashan in pieces for touching a woman... Be it a queen or a maid...
That was a biggest Adharm happened in Mahabharata.

I have no words to appreciate CVs ... The scene was so so real that I felt I have gone to that era , sitting in that hall... And watching it alive.
Actors did fabulous job.
Pooja, Shaheer and D actor plays Bheem were amazing ... Can't wait till Monday.

Kudos to team MB.

I so so so agree...Ever since Yudishtir bet his brothers, I have been astonished that it was even allowed, but with the whole Draupadi chapter...I mean from the point where Dushasan was asked to bring Drupadi to the hall, brought a different side of me alive...I kinda wished I was there, I swear I would have tortured them to death 😡

The CV's have outdone their selves and today I know why Pooja Sharma said that it was emotionally tiring and disturbing, when we as viewers could not see it and was disturbed, she was enacting it...and had to bring that gamut of expressions, literally live the character to make an impact which she totally did.
