DURING THE CAMPAIGN THAT PROCEDED THE ASHVAMEDHA-YAGNA, VRISHAKETHU ACCOMPANIED ARJUNA AND PARTICIPATED IN THE BATTLES WITHSUDHAVA AND BABRUVAHANA. DURING THAT CAMPAIGN VRISHAKETHU MARRIED THE DAUGHTER OF KING YAVANATHA ( PERHAPS A KING OF THE WESTERN REGIONS). IT IS SAID, ARJUNA DEVELOPED GREAT AFFECTION FOR VRISHAKETHU, HIS NEPHEW.

vrish bro ,thnx a lot for this link..i always searched for a source to read about Arjun 's reaction to the truth of Karna..Iam really happy to read that Arjun adopted Vrishaketu.from a site ive read that Vrishkethu was offered the Kingdom too..

According to some sources arjun adopted vrishkethu and vrishkethu helped arjun during ashwamedh yagna he considerd him more than his own son bhabruvahan (sry if i am wrong)

thnx frappie..yeah,u r right..both Arjun and Vrishketu had to fight with Babruvahan and both were killed by him.later Krishna made them alive using nagamani..I ve read the story from the link provided by Vrish

I'll surely write one for you dear..before that lemme get some insight to our Vrishaketu's Mind..we have got very limited info regarding him..

no book ever written about vrishketu insight , karna's wife-the outcast's queen had some space of him

all i know he was offered the kingdom but was refused by him , or by his mother Karna's youngest queen who was only alive among his wives others became sati , arjun found abhimanyu in him and showered all his love and affection on him , he couldn't just live without seeing him for once Vrishketu became almost as shadow of arjun

about ur story its upto u how will u portray but ofcourse vrishketu would have grudges for his father's killer he will say harsh words to him or doesn't want to talk to him , but arjun's repentation and love or krishna's consolation will succeed to change his heart
