In context of of the specific point Karna raised (not Ashwathama or Duryodhan) about Draupadi being insensitive to others feelings, not being of 'uttam charitra' appeared to be more synonymous with selfish or arrogant or prejudiced. Normally question on a woman's 'character' is invariably understood as a snide on her sexual conduct, but character need not be limited to sex life or promiscuity. It could be other traits as well. That's why I didn't find ⭐️Karna's remarks to be in the same league as that of ⭐️Ashwathama or ⭐️Duryodhan.

In any case I still find the curses dumb and cheap. Warriors never cursed other warriors. They could have pledged to kill them or harshly rebuked them and warned them of consequences (that's what Bhishma should have done). But hurling such sadak chaap curses was plainly out of character.

i think those words spoken by arjun to karna in yesterday's epi was more of a repeatation of lord parashuraam's curse, it was more of a prediction than curse.

is the term charitra or character is always related to sexual orientation? Karna's indication in yesterday's episode was to her castist character (which according to him was true since he received such castist dialogues from her in sayambar) not characterless one, ofcourse none said karna was right in supporting aswathama (atleast not me) who said her characterless , but there was no apshabd or bad words what he himself used for which he was accused by arjun , if today he uses something like characterless then it will be apshabd definitely

@ rehanism So calling ones wife selfish arrogant and prejudiced is not an insult?????at that instance when others in the court were insulting her on her charitra (her sexual conduct considering star maharathi karn is a gentle man and hasn't meant that way ) And most importantly I feel insulting a pious woman publicly by speaking against her honour in a court as sadak chap very cheap and out of character also saying the following

"a person who has insulted me in terms of caste is not of uttam charitra (I mean selfish arrogant and prejudiced) " as very very cheap and sadak chap usne mujhe aisa bola toh woh characterless hain kind of thing

And speaking up for the honour of ones wife or for that case cursing in helpless situation (considering star arjun is a das and his gandeev is adheen of angraj according to star dury) is very much heroic and a highly appreciable thing👏👏👏

Why is Karna's utterances being seen in isolation. Dury, Ashwi and Karna were all supporting staking and humiliation of a WOMAN!! That is the difference. Karna was endorsing Ashwi's views on Draupadi, Ashwi called her characterless, Karna says what wrong did he say?And then goes on to talk about his insult. It was his thought process that he showed, she dared to insult me, she deserves to be staked and turned into a slave. How disgusting is this?

karna supporting them for stalking her was ofcourse wrong but what he himself did said was particularly the criticism over her behavior towards him

karna was not a saint anyway so why won't he remember his insult? actually his act was normal (not right) many will behave this way and will feel happy if the person who insulted him is being insulted

(its not supportable attitude but its normal attitude)

in this show karna too was publicly insulted by her ,comparing him with subhumen creature , saying he has himself dishonored the sayambar , its natural it was a disgusting , proud , selfish , insensitive attitude of her to him , so he has this image of her in mind that is what he said yesterday how will he know how generous and pious she is , hence karna's words were from his genuine belief not for turnishing her character in deliberate attempt

Then ofcourse Draupadi's husband cursed him for supporting her staking and humiliation. Like I said earlier, God makes people pay who kick someone when they are already down. That was God Himself talking through Arjun's mouth.

i don't want to bring god here , karna ofcourse needs punishment for supporting wrong , but yesterday he himself didn't use particular words to get curse of such high level , if he today uses those words ofcourse the curse will be deserved by him
