Well as Krishna said in last epi that Mamashree is an intellectual in the world...but he uses his bhyanak buddhi😆😆for adharm...
So if Shakuni wud not b Mama of dury...were there any chances that dury wud b a different man thn..i mean if any chances that he wont lead the path of adharam?????...as his mother really doesnt seeme to me adharmi ladyđŸ„±n father toođŸ„±thats different thing that Shakuni has a heavy hand on him through his bhyanak buddhi n he loves his children like anything that evn somethimes he forgets the difference between dharam n adharamđŸ„±đŸ˜Č

Duri WITHOUT Shakuni being who he was??
That's interesting...but then it's not like Shakuni was ENTIRELY responsible for how Duri turned out. I mean, there is also the case of Dhrit's putra-moh as well as the fact that Gandhari never bothered to be a "good mother" herself...

There are many versions of Mahabharat available, some text but many word of mouth. It depends on which version one wants to believe.

Reading between the lines in the KMG translated text one will find that Shakuni had a lesser role to play than his generally accepted depiction nowadays

As per the text he is involved only in Lakshagrah and the Game of Dice. For Lakshagrah it was Dhrit pressurized by the other politicians in the court who asks Shakuni to come up with some plan. On his own he was hardly planning to do anything.

Before the game of dice he actually advises Dury not to be jealous of Pandavas and be happy with his portion. It was Dury who knew no peace of mind and hence the suggestion to defeat Yudi through dice instead of outright war.

Regarding poisoning Bheem and going to the forest to mock the Pandavas, as per KMG Shakuni was not involved. In the balance Dury would still have been bad but any overt action would have met with quick opposition and Dury most likely would have self-destructed.
