Mishti.. that is what the CVs are trying to do and see the result.. Brain Roast
we discussed a lot in a previous thread on Yudishtra.. I wish to repeat my understanding..
A King was nothing less than God.. Everything was considered his property and he can stake them or do whatever..
If a King can risk the lives of his warriors, brothers, sons & grandsons in a war to secure his throne (or his allies throne), why cant he stake them? he is also risking the future of their wives isn't it? do we question that? what right he has on their lives?
he staked horses and elephants.. are they not lives?
Servants both male and female, all his citizens male and female except Brahmins.. no one seems to question.. why??
then his brothers - not all question them..
then their wife - we have so many questions and speeches about Woman rights.. but what about Human Rights? am sorry this only seems to me like we are trying to show off as feminists and nothing else..
if at all Yudishtra won that stake and fortunately won back everything that he lost, we wont be taking anything about commodification of a woman.. instead would be praising her for being their lucky charm..
