Nakul was close to getting killed by Vrishasena when Arjun killed the latter from behind. The next day, Nakul fought & killed 3 of Karna's sons - Chitrasena, Susena and Satyasena.
Sahadev was indeed the one who slew both Ulooka & Shakuni in quick succession. Contrary to what BRC showed, Shakuni was no match for him (Ramanand Sagar showed it better, except that they wrongly showed Nakul killing Shakuni, instead of Sahadev doing the deed)
