Hello everyone...
As we know that our Ganesha wrote this Mahabharata...So,is Ganesha anywhere included in the epic [means any event related to him]???😛😛😛
And did Mahabharat happen in real????I know its a stupid qu. bt truely,I want to know the answer...If yes, then as far as I know Ved vyasa told the incidents to Ganesha and he wrote...So,we only see Vyas in some events...So,how did he come to know about every other event???
And did Vyasa also had some Ichha Mrityu Boon?As he has seen 6 generations of Mahabharat-Chitrangad - Pandu - Arjuna - Abhimanyu - Parikshit - Janmajeya...Even Krishna went to Golok at early age so how cn Vyasa be alive???
And what will be the son's caste if :
1. Mother is maid and father is king
2.Mother is Queen and father is charioteer
How did Gandhari born 100 children?Means as we have seen in the whole epic, every one has 5 to 10 children only and gandhari has 100!!
Plzz answer!!

Ganesha's contribution to Ved Vyasa's MB has been given in the Adi Parva (KMG Translation) -

""Brahma said. 'I esteem thee for thy knowledge of divine mysteries, before the whole body of celebrated Munis distinguished for the sanctity of their lives. I know thou hast revealed the divine word, even from its first utterance, in the language of truth. Thou hast called thy present work a poem, wherefore it shall be a poem. There shall be no poets whose works may equal the descriptions of this poem, even, as the three other modes called Asrama are ever unequal in merit to the domestic Asrama. Let Ganesa be thought of, O Muni, for the purpose of writing the poem.'

"Sauti said, 'Brahma having thus spoken to Vyasa, retired to his own abode. Then Vyasa began to call to mind Ganesa. And Ganesa, obviator of obstacles, ready to fulfil the desires of his votaries, was no sooner thought of, than he repaired to the place where Vyasa was seated. And when he had been saluted, and was seated, Vyasa addressed him thus, 'O guide of the Ganas! be thou the writer of the Bharata which I have formed in my imagination, and which I am about to repeat."

"Ganesa, upon hearing this address, thus answered, 'I will become the writer of thy work, provided my pen do not for a moment cease writing." And Vyasa said unto that divinity, 'Wherever there be anything thou dost not comprehend, cease to continue writing.' Ganesa having signified his assent, by repeating the word Om! proceeded to write; and Vyasa began; and by way of diversion, he knit the knots of composition exceeding close; by doing which, he dictated this work according to his engagement.

Ved Vyasa is one of the seven Chiranjeevis or "immortals" (the other six being Ashwatthama, King Maha Bali, Hanuman, Vibheeshana, Parashurama, and Kripacharya). So, yes, he is still alive, and he would be banging his head on a wall right now looking at the way his work has been butchered!!

How did he know about each and every event? Simple, he is "Bhagwan" Ved Vyasa - seriously.
I mean, he is the one who granted divine vision to Sanjaya just before Kurukshetra, so...
Also, the MB is basically the story of Ved Vyasa's own family - he is the son of Satyavati, he is the dad of Dhrit, Pandu & Vidur, AND he is the grandfather of the Kauravas and the Pandavas. So, how would he NOT know each and every event??

And with regards to Krishna, it would NOT be right to use the word "died" (for obvious reasons). I would say that Krishna returned to Goloka after the purpose of His earthly incarnation was over. Simple.

Gandhari has 100 children - How? Because Mahadev gave her that boon. Just like how Draupadi received the boon to have five husbands.

With regards to caste, did Vidur and Yuyutsu ever get the recognition they deserved?? It was basically an extremely rigid caste system.

Did MB happen in real? It is part of "itihaas"...and, underwater remains of Dwarka have been found, so THAT city definitely existed. In other words, Krishna also existed. For real.

Sanjaya was Dhrit's charioteer. He narrated the events of Kurukshetra (including the Bhagavad Gita) as they happened to Dhrit - thanks to divine vision received from Ved Vyasa.
Basically Sanjaya received live telecast of the events at Kurukshetra, and he used to narrate the same to Dhrit, and offer his opinions as well.

The Gita actually mentions Sanjaya during his convos with Dhrit ("Sanjaya uvaacha" or "Sanjaya spoke"). Also, when the war was going on Sanjaya used to be extremely frank with Dhrit regarding his opinions about how the war was heading, and who had the upper hand on a particular occasion.

Also, during Udyog Parva (pre-war diplomacy talks between Pandavas & Kauravas), Sanjaya also paid a visit to the Pandavas conveying Dhrit's mesage to them.
