Shruti - far be it for me to defend SB... but, the way I see it we end up at the same place no matter what. GPB sides with adharma against Pandavas because he is tied to the throne of HP via promises he chose to make. The only difference is that in the original Queen SatyaGreedy made a bakra out of him and in this version King Krazy4Power completed job started by his GreedyGanny. In anycase GPB is a character who oversacrifices to the determinent of dharma - he shortchanges the public, misuses his samarth as regards Amba, and blindly binds himself to the throneholder of HP. The essence is similar... its just that SB he started out strong. But, the dilution was required pre-Vastaharan. They distorted but end result is same. A bevash Bhisma.
