Karna was in laxman mode she is our bhabhi she is maa samaan ,dont look at her.Poor Dusashan😆

I😆 I liked that laxman touch. It suited Karna well. Nice side of Dushy as well who accepted his mistake quickly.

Filler episode.

Didn't like Draupadi's entry at all, too much too many props , n too much filmy for a serious character's entry. She should've been simply shown walking in accompanied by her maids n elder sister , n nothing else. Her own radiance should be doing all the job. It was very badly done IMO.

Loved Karna-Krishna conversation n even Krishna-Dury, Krishna-Sakuni interaction to bits.

Duryadhan siad, "kalyan ho ' to Krishna, I was in splits ! 🤣

I absolutely loved this scene , completely suited Karna, I jumped on my feet n clapped furiously.

Really enjoyed how Dushi was shame faced , looking guilty n admitted he was wrong. 😆 An unknown modest side of Dushi. Seen for the first n probably the last time . 🤣

Nope. Not touchy about her. She is not my most favorite character. It will be interesting to understand events from her angle. I want to give it a try. Especially someone mentioned about kunti/draupadi relation etc. Vyaasa hadno time nor stomach for this soap opera. I have time and popcorn both.

For me the best part was ofcourse the very insightful n very meaningful Karna-Krishna interaction. Both actors did excellent job n there was just so much depth to the scene.

N loved the bitterness surfacing up in Karna, because he knew the person standing in front of him is lord himself, other wise he keeps his wounds well hidden .

If there is any book about the Mahabharata that I think you should read after being familiar with it's plot, then it has to be 'Yuganta' by Irawati Karve. It's originally in Marathi, but an English translation is available. I think you'll also be able to find a copy online. It is not a point of view narration like many books based on the Mahabharata, but consists of series of essays on the characters and the social set up at that time

Of course this is my personal opinion and just a suggestion. Happy reading, whatever you choose! 😊

Yesterday's episode was good, watchable but it seriously hurts what they are showing is not relevant to Mahabharata at all. Krishna and Karna meeting and talking, Krishna telling only two yodhas can win this game and confusing Draupadi. Oh Karna here is too good to be bad!!!!

One more question... is she the same Draupadi who once had no issues with castes but now in todays episode she is going to reject Karna for being suthputra???🤔

I would say CVs please distort a story in a justifiable way at least!

As for the books, a series written by Bibek Debroy called "The Mahabharata" is suppose to be the literal translation of Veda Vyas's version without any deviations. Just found out that you can buy ebook on flipkart.

Warning: it is exhaustive and has some 6 plus volumes. My husband read the first 2 and found them to be very good.
