All members are posting excellent topics,also covering some unheard stories,it's like most of you thoroughly studied Mahabharat.😃

Me ... Mb is taught as history in 12std, i got fascinated and read it, the shakespearin style translation, simplified english translation and hindi one too, but tamil and bangali version is different, both in terms of translation and the point of view regarding major events.
then there are writers who have authored their own intrepretation of the whole book. note the difference between many translations and an individuals own intrepretation.
the show makers have written their own version of it. ;)

well I had 2 lessons of story of mahabhrat in 6th standard and I got fascinated by it. I asked my parents to bring the book of it and I read it I got more fascinated and go on studying about it..

mahabharat is such an extensive book the more we read it the less it is.

I can never claim to have read the it completely.

I have a good idea of the events but I may not be perfect in the details and I m sure I've missed out the details.

the direct translation vyas mahabharat in English is about 6000 pages by ganguly. (don't remember the name)

he has given complete explain of each and every shloka of mahabharat.

so if u read it all then I can say u ve read the whole MB. else all books always present main events and drop out the details.

I really don't have the patience to read such a huge book😆

didn't u change ur dp.

I had suggested na remove the tom n jerry dp and use shakuni mama dp😆
