Episode begins with Drona inside Panchal palace. He arrives to where the Pandavas are holding Drupad captive and remembers the past, when he had come to see his friend Drupad, but Drupad had denied his friendship with Drona. Drona remembers all this and tells Drupad he will do Ashwathama's rajyabhishek.
Ashwathama is crowned King of one half of Panchal, and Drupad is allowed to keep the other half and told to rule it from Kampilya. Drona tells him to think of Ashwathama as his own son since he doesn't have any of his own. Drona tells Yudhishtir that he is convinced that he is the most worthy Kuru prince. He tells Arjun that his valour will always be remembered.
Drona tells the Pandavas to go back to Hastinapur, and that he will remain with Ashwathama for a while.
The Pandavas are riding back to Hastinapur. Arjun is shown sleeping on his horse, while Bheem wonders how he can sleep on an empty stomach. Sahadev says Arjun has conquered sleep, he can go an entire month without sleep and is able to sleep anywhere.
Arjun wakes up and tells them that the less difference there is between sleeping and waking the greater the person is. Bheem laughs and says he knows such a person who is always daydreaming. Yudhishtir tells him not to always talk ill of Duryodhan.
The Pandavas wonder whether he will ever be peaceful towards them. Suddenly Duryodhan and his brothers are shown coming out behind the trees. They block the way of the Pandavas.
Precap: Duryodhan tells Dhritrashta that if he announces Yudhishtir as the yuvraj then he will forget all his limits and bring shame on the Kurus.
