Ok, latest today - Yudisthir & Duryodhan directly quarreling over Duhsala's marriage to Jayadrath. And while @ it, they've made it a head on conflict b/w duty & love 😆 - the former being championed of course by Yudisthir, & the latter by Duryodhan.
It was funny to hear Vidura say that a swayamvara is only held for friendly kingdoms, given what Bheeshma had done years ago in Kashi. I'm surprised that Shakuni didn't pick up on that. But his insult of Bheeshma was funny to say the least - he doesn't have his own family, so how will he know how to make a a happy family? 😆 And there is the quarrel b/w Duryodhan & Yudisthir on whether Sindhu can be a marital ally of Hastinapur, w/ Vidura saying that Sindhu & Magadha can't. Well, after Jarasandha's death, his daughter did marry Sahadev, so where exactly did even that come from?
And why would Gandhari be crestfallen on hearing the news that Duhsala's wedding has been fixed w/ Jayadrath?
Incidentally, when the game of dice took place and the Pandavas were welcomed, Duhsala was the one who led the Kaurava women in welcoming them. So she was obviously still unmarried then, or else how could she have led them if she was the kulvadhu of Sindhu?
