I think I've worked how how Krishna will enter.

When Jarasandh attacks, Akroor comes to Hastinapur to request their help in the war, but they decline (they don't want to take up arms against a strong kingdom).

I think this could be why Krishna enters on 1st. He will enter with the Mathura V Magadh story.
