What I want to know is: Bheem had strenght of hundreds of elephants because of the drink given to him by the serpants!
How did Dhuryodhan acquire so much power? I know in the end Ghandhari gives him an invincible armour, but before that there is no way Dhuryodhan could fight Bheem, as he was physically stronger!!
The Mahabharat CVs just want bakvaas drama.
I'd rather they showed more detail of things that ACTUALLY happened than unneccessary over drama.
As far as the skill display goes no way was Duryodhan going to beat Bheem and as many have been saying Ashwathama actually breaks up the fight between the two of them as it was going out of hand. Let's see what they show here.
Here they already seem to have decided that Ashwathama is evil and I would not be surprised later in the show if in the "game of dice" scene they show Ashwathama encouraging Duryodhan.
I am all for creative liberty to interpret the events, but the main essence should not be distorted.
Later as they grew up things became different. An old saying " Mighty brawn is no match for a nimble brain".
Bheem was more powerful, but Duryodhan was more agile and agility counts for a lot in a single combat. Ofcourse all this happened much later the in day when both Bheem and Duryodhan took advanced training from Balarama. Apart from that Duryodhan also practised a lot with the iron statue of Bheem while the Pandavas were in forest and hence was better prepared.
