was wondering if anyone has read Govinda by Krishna udayshankar.Its a retelling of Mahabharat and first book of the series Aryavarta chronicles.All the charcters are more human in this retelling,stripped of any kind of divnity and characters have been shown in a different light.I am quite enjoying reading this different Mahabharat.Was wondering if anyone else has read it as well since most of us here are intrested in Mahabharat as an epic

yes i have read half of it.Its quite intresting.New take on Mahabharat and its characters

I am always open to new interpritation of Mahabharat .. I have read a many in Bengali .. interpritation of each n every characters .. I have seen Shakuni n Duriyadhan from a different perspective too .. I guess it will be a good read for me .. I will start whenever I get time
