I have read that at the time of war...Bhishma was at age of 183...Kripacharya & Drona at age of 120 around.

And Pandavas at age around 80 to 85.

After the war...They ruled for only 8-10 years...so Parikshit was also at age of 8-10 years.

So Yuyutsu must be there for taking care of him as Future king of Hastinapur...So Pandava left in childhood of Parikshit

But yes 36 years is also said.

Because Gandhari cursed Krishna that his kingdom will be destroyed after 36 years...& at the time of death of Krishna ...Arjun was there.

I also read that Krishna was at age of 84 at the time of war & he left at age of 120.

Buthow can they all live so long & also healthy that they can fight also at such a big age?

But i seriously questioned that before 5000 years life style was so high that people easily live 150 years...😲

But i have fully faith in our Indian culture there was too unknown + secret things...+ Yoga ...Ayurveda ...No pollution...Living style...activity...thoughts then it's possible this

Parikshit was 36 when he was made the king. In those days 36 was considered a very young age to be a king and hence Subhadra was made the regent and Yuyutsu was given the charge of the administration. I believe in those days the Brahmacharya ashram generally lasted till one was 40 or thereabouts.

i don't remember exactlt but i think when gandhari said mujhe apni putri ke liye vichilit hu .. then sugda was shown with sad face and baby bump... they just cut out i think...why are they in such a hurry
