parents are always worried for future of their children , so they tend to plan it themselves and prefer them to follow the same path of career chosen by them as they feel they know the pros n cons of it.

but before deciding it we should ask 3 questions

1- will this path chosen by us will not undergo constant change with tym ? so how our experience can always help the kids.

2 do our child has same capability like me to walk the path ?

3 will new challenges won't come infront of my child while walking the same path ?

so just like character building is more important than securing future , the same way preparing child to face challenges is more important than choosing path for them

Thus the importance of an authentic inquiry and investigating for oneself, being decisive, taking a proactive stance as opposwd to simply being carried away by the flow, following a lead without truly understanding of what it means. This is so common nowadays, people around you living superficial, robotic lives, not figuring out the best course for themselves instead aim to follow tradition for sake of it, no attempt made to comprehend the purpose of its existence,or to test and challenge the significance, which is the chisellling part that Krishna pertained to, that digging inquiry into truths. The process rather than result, means to end is of primary importance in the spiritual quest that leads to fulfillment.
