I had read that the makers of this show hired Rajit Kapur, THE Byomkesh Bakshi, to coach the cast in this area and was curious to see how effective he was. As of this episode, I can say it was a move that more than paid off because everyone from the main cast to the extras sounded like they were of that era rather than sent there via time machine. Special mention for Arav Chaudhary as Bhishma - people have all kinds of stereotypes about male models, but his performance in this episode is evidence enough to turn those misconceptions upside down. He spoke with a lot of conviction, differentiating between his delivery in a battle scene and a somber, emotional scene with incredible skill. So yeah, I am now confident that when important monologues/dialogues like Draupadi's questions in the dice hall and of course the Bhagavad Gita come along, it's going to be very easy to take them seriously because the coach was effective, and the cast put effort into absorbing it. Applause for both 👏
