She was stripped of her dignity...she was stripped of her pride...a queen, a wife was dragged to the court insulted in a court full of brave men - who did nothing to help her her own husbands stood with their heads lowered...and when the clothes she wore were being tugged - that was tantamount to stripping her - that was bad enough in that time. She must have prayed to Sri Krishna for help and her prayers heard and the indignity stopped.
Whether that translated into him giving her courage to speak up and fight for herself, make everyone so disgusted that they walked away instead of being an audience, making the men in her life stand up for her or helping her by covering her with cloth or - idk
IMHO -The fact that a woman was mistreated was reason enough - she need not have been stripped of her clothes for Mahabharat to happen.

That, and also the old topic of whether it happened.

That was the discussion? Sorry I think I got lost too😆
Sri krishna is dharma - He saved her honor because when she was dragged into court not dressed to appear in court (Yep that was there in the epic too !) - by her hair and all the brave men watched and did nothing - she asked the for help and noone said anything - finally she called out to God/Sri Krishna to help and to stop this and no matter in what shape or form he helped her - she stood up for her self in all her glory of being a woman who deserves respect and called them all out.
Sri Krishna gave her courage to fight for what is right and fight for her respect.
A woman today too when she has the courage can fight for what is right, against indignity, for her self respect and its her faith in herself and God that makes her stand up.
Mahabharat is a parallel of real ife only the interpretations are different.

Neither Krishna nor Dhrama.

The saviour was the jackal who had somehow escaped from the Hastinapur zoo and made his way into Dritarashtra's puja room and began howling from there.

Dury & Co. step by step removed all the helping aids for Dharma, ultimately making it unable to act. Yudi- Dharma on his own lacked seeing results of his action. Clearly indicating Dharma is nothing but a system, it can work only with the help of other factors.
Draupadi, was born from fire. She chose to be their wife. If anyone else can touch her & get away with

Such beautifully written👏...have read a similar expansion. With further analysis... Human mind has capacity to excel or err. Virtues or frailties are self choices. They are symbolically represented by Pandavas or Kauravas; Five anchor virtues that make one humane are well explained by you (Nakul- forbearance?) as personified tr. each Pandava; Dharma, Strenght, Courage, Insight and Forbearance...Similarly 'Chandal Chokdi' represented four main frailties. As their characteristic actions bespoke; Dushashan- Anger (Krodh), Shakuni- Deceit (Maya), Karna- Conceit/ego (Maan), Duryodhan- Greed (Lobh). Each frailty can bog one down, if not controlled. Man has capacity to adopt former. Which can make him excel and grow well rounded. Or surrender to the later, which can 'disrob' his humanity- essence of a good person. Such is man's 'internal' Mahabharat- as a metaphor!
