Alam Khan to play young Duryodhan in Mahabharat!

Young actor Alam Khan will soon be seen playing young Duryodhan in Star Plus' popular mythological show Mahabharat.

Young actor cum dancer Alam Khan who has been seen in many popular shows like Hamari Devrani, Chhoti Bahu.. Sindoor Bin Suhaagan, Disney's Shake It Up and has also been a part of Color's popular kids dance reality show Chak Dhoom Dhoom, is all set to be seen in Siddharth Kumar Tiwary's ongoing mythological show Mahabharat on Star Plus.

Our source says, "Duryodhan's birth will be shown in tonight's episode and Alam Khan will be seen playing the character of young Duryodhan in the show. His entry as a young Duryodhan will be shown next week."

When contacted Alam, he confirmed the news saying, "It has been a very nice experience for me to be a part of the show. I enjoyed and learnt a lot while shooting for the show. I got to know everything about Mahabharat while doing the show and I am following the show daily."

"I wish to pursue my career in acting and I want to be a superstar," concludes Alam.

With Pandu's death, is Satyavati's role also coming to an end? I'm gonna miss Sayantani, whenever that is.

Doesn't Satyavati go to the forests after Pandu's death? I think Ambika and Ambalika also follow her as per the epic, but I am not sure.

Sayantani was a pretty good Satyavati. I liked the remorse she expressed in Friday's episode.

It was funny to see Bheeshma & Shakuni play a game of dice. I had done a spoof about it weeks ago in CNAT, and it came true today 🤣 Looks like Swastik productions reads our stuff here 😆

One classic comment of Bheeshma's - Shakuni asks him who'd start, and Bheeshma takes the start, telling him that he's already thrown the dice many times 🤣 What a contrast w/ the serial where the younger one always started 😆

The coup de grace was Bheeshma spelling out to him the 6 strikes against him, which included Subala being ill & it being time for Shakuni to return to Gandhara, and Bheeshma having yet to get orders from Dhritarashtra not to murder Shakuni 🤣 Funnier yet was him grinding the dice into sand w/ his hand.

If only this Bheeshma had cast the dice for Yudhisthir 😆

Yeah, after Pandu's death, Vyasa persuades Satyavati, Ambalika & Ambika to accompany him to the forest. Although I think that the latter 2 could easily have stayed on & supported their respective kids 😈

I loved Bhishma in today's episode. 👏 Arav Chaudhary totally does justice to his character, and the dice game between him and Shakuni is hilarious. Arav tweeted about it on twitter, saying it was great fun to film it. I bet! I also wish he had played on behalf of Yudhisthira. 😆

Oh I loved the Hatya dialogue!! The way Bheeshma had Shakuni quaking..Excellent work by teh actors!!! 😆 I so wish Bheeshma had not bounden himself to that throne so blindly..he would have just made a lot of difference, even if he did not sit on the throne himself!!

Another scene I loved was Karna and Kunti...though it might have been a creative input..but the way Kara's eyes watered as Kunti's eyes were crying...and he didnot even realize the fact...was very subtly and wonderfully done...not to mention his absolute fall on her feet😆
