That was exactly my issue as well smiley36 It’s my first time too! Like you can write what you like & narrate the story by even looking at what you have written. They aren’t judging by the tone of your voice or any other criterion. And plus it doesn’t have to be 10 full minutes. Less than or equal would do! Give it a shot if you would! I’m sure you’ll do fine smiley9

Thanks for the tag. While I like mythology, especially Mahabharat, I've never written anything related to it. Is there an option to pair up with a writer who needs a narrator? smiley36

Aha I love this suggestion! 🤩

Hey, I have a doubt! There’s no canon involved here right ? That is we are supposed to narrate the story ( of course it has so many variations ), as is I’m assuming - it is judged based on the way it is narrated ( I mean the way it’s made engaging ) & how well it’s been written? Pls clarify this point smiley20

One more question: how many entries per person ?

One entry per participant. However, the basic storyline and the character dynamics should not alter the overall original Mahabharat much. The entry will be judged based on both the plot and the way it's narrated/presented.

Important Announcement

After carefully considering your feedback, we have decided to offer participants the flexibility to compete either solo or in pairs for the contest. Here's how it will work:

  1. Solo Participation: If you wish to compete alone, you will take on both roles as the scriptwriter and the narrator for all four rounds of the contest.

  2. Duo Participation: If you prefer to team up, you can invite a fellow participant to join you in this thread and form a pair. One of you will be the scriptwriter, and the other will be the narrator. However, please note:

    • One narrator can collaborate with only one scriptwriter and vice versa.
    • Once you select a partner, the pairing will remain fixed throughout the contest.
  3. How to Confirm Your Participation:

    • Clearly mention in this thread whether you are participating solo or as a duo.
    • If playing as a duo, specify who will take on the roles of scriptwriter and narrator.

If you have any further questions or need clarification, feel free to ask in this thread.

Woo hoo! Thanks for the rule change smiley10.

I could try for duo participation if someone needs a narrator smiley9.
