Dear diary:

It is been a year now since we come here in this city. Every day when I go to college or back he is there walking with me from distance. I feel safe in his presence. Even when I get late in college I see him waiting for me in the bus station but he never says a word to me. His blue eyes say many words but his mouth says nothing at all. I do not know what to do. I feel attracted to him thinking about him all the time but who am I for him? Does he love me or even think about me. He never tried to approach me. Or talk to me about anything all I got from him just good morning and good bye if we met on road or if our eyes met on stairs. His mother is my mother friend now and she is so kind she shares every little details with my mother if he loves me she would say something. I know everything about him now he is in last year in law faculty. He will become good lawyer because he is first in his class and he is so smart. But why he couldn't understand that I'm attracted to him how he can't see love in my eyes. How will he become lawyer and he cannot express his feeling to me. I know they are not rich and he can't provide me a fancy life but I'm not princess too and I will be happy with him even if we are poor. Here mom and dad they are poor but our family full of love and my friends' families are rich but when I listen to their problems. Their lives are empty and lifeless. Why can't he understand that I will accept him by anyway cause I really love him I love him true love. Should I confess to him? But he is the man. He should say it first. And what if he does not love me. What if all that is just my imagination. Will you handle the embracement if he told you that he does not love you? But how can I know what is in his heart. It kills me to feel these feelings for him and he does not care at all. When I look in his eyes, I can see love and caring for me but his words say nothing at all, he even didn't give any hint about his feeling for me what should I believe. His unspoken feeling that shows in his looks, his caring, his acts for me, or believe his spoken words which say nothing at all I'm no one for him. Even mom told me he doesn't love me. She told me

"if he loves you, he would talk to you or to your father to marry you. Or even his mother should talk to me. We are good friends now, we are talking about everything, and she didn't hint once that he has feeling for you so Madhu forget all about this and concentrate in your studies. Medicine faculty is not easy study it is so hard and it needs full concentration my dear. So please forget all about love and all this and just think in your studies. Do not waste your time and your mind on nothing. And don't forget how hard your father works in two jobs for your studies. So how now you forget all about it and come ask me about love to a man he even doesn't love you or said a word about it to you

Mom is right dear diary I should concentrate on my studies, forget all about love, and forget all about Sultan. If he loves me, he will try to approach me or say anything to me until then just study and study and only study will be in my mind

"Ok aunty, but it maybe high bp I will get my bp measurement equipment and I will check on you then I will make the best dinner for your my lovely aunty" Madhu

"Ok my dear you are so kind I love you so much. I wish I have a daughter like you" Meera

"And you don't consider me as your daughter now I'm angry" Madhu

"No dear sure you are my daughter and I love you more than that" Meera

Madhu went to her house. And get the equipment to check on her aunty Meera and she finds out that she has high blood pressure

"OMG. Aunty your bp is way too high it is 180/160 you must take rest and take your medicine" Madhu

"Ok my dear I will rest in my room and please you prepare the dinner" Meera

"But is there any problem aunty. Are you sad for anything that made your bp very high what is wrong aunty?" Madhu

"What can I tell you dear? You know the main of all problems is money. Sultan is in his last year and his studies cost too much, we cannot afford it. He works to pay for his studies and my medication, and he is young for all this. He is carrying very heavy responsibility on his shoulder and it breaks my heart as his mother to see him like this" Meera

"Don't worry about Sultan aunty he is strong man he can handle it but please take care of your health or you will put more weights on his shoulder if you are not healthy" Madhu

"Yes he is strong man he is working to provide our needs and his studies since he was 12 years old when his father passed away and left me and Sultan alone in this world" Meera

"How hard is your life Sultan" Madhu thought in herself

"See you said it. He is strong man so please don't worry about him and take care of your health. Now go and rest and I will make the best dinner for you and Sultan" Madhu

Madhu helped Meera to her room then she went to kitchen to prepare the dinner for Sultan and Meera aunty she was very happy knowing that Sultan will eat from food made by her hand made by love and care

Knock knock

Madhu went to open the door to find Sultan is there

"Madhu, you here?" Sultan is asking

"Yes aunty is not feeling well that is why I'm" Sultan did not wait for her to finish her words and ran to his mother room

"Mom what did happen? Why you are ill?" Sultan

"It is nothing my dear just little headache" Meera

"Actually aunty has" Madhu trying to explain to Sultan when Meera interrupt her

"I just have little headache nothing else" Meera looking and Madhu pleading her not to tell Sultan anything about her health problems

"Dinner is ready I will put it in the table" Madhu

Madhu went to prepare the table and Sultan went to her

"Thank you Madhu for taking care of mom while I'm not here" Sultan

"But today there is no college. Where were you that late?" Madhu

"I got double shift in work today. That is why I am late. I'm sorry you had to come here and cook for us I will try not to be late again" Sultan

"No it is ok do not worry about aunty at all she is my mother friend and I consider her as my mother actually I love to be here with her" Madhu

"Thank you again" Sultan

Madhu was going home when she turned hesitating and Sultan noticed that she wants to talk with him

"I want to say something I don't know if it is right or wrong to tell you" Madhu

"What is it Madhu?" Sultan feeling that she wants to confess something
