Note - After a long time, I am here in this thread. Lol! Well, I have decided to continue this story. I couldn't end this story in 3 parts like I planned it initially so making it a short story. Hope you all won't have any issue with that.
This update may not be good. I kinda lost the flow and interest on this story and on this couple but I didn't want to leave this story unfinished so making some slight changes in the initial plot and continuing it. This story will be FUN fulfilled and NO shocking twist and turns up ahead. And of course there will be "happy ending" for this couple! :)

Part - 3
"Hey, where are you?" Rk asked.
"I am at home. If you open your bedroom window you can see me. I am standing in the balcony." Madhu said in a playful tone.
"I am going to my friend Sultan's birthday party. Would you like to go with me?"
"Yeah sure." he was surprised with her immediate acceptance.
"But what you will tell to your grandma?"
"I will give her some excuse... Hmm... I will tell I am going to my girl friend's birthday party."
"Cool. You get ready soon and ping me. I will pick you up from the church two streets away so that neither my mom nor your granny sees us."
"Okay. Bye."

"Hey" Madhu said shyly as she came running to his side.
"Hop up quickly" he said in a rushed tone and before she could properly sit at the back of the bike he zoomed and sped away from the place.
Once they were in the main road away from their colony he said his "Hi" which she didn't hear in the sound of other vehicles, wind and top of that her helmet covered her ears. Rk had given his helmet to her to wear. One her safety. Two to hide her face.
"You look beautiful... Though I haven't fixed my eyes clearly on you... You always do... you always look breathtaking" Rk said looking at her image through the bike mirror. This time she heard his statement clearly as it was about praising her good looks.
She blushed prufusely and turned her face away but still he caught her cute blushing in spite of her wearing his big helmet.
"You know no one is going to sit in the middle of us that you are leaving so much space." he said.
"Um... I... " she felt shy to move and sit closer to him or to hold him tightly. She had just placed her right hand on his shoulder for support.
"I thought you will shy away and turn me down when I asked you to come with me." Rk continued talking.
"I actually wanted to talk with you... I was looking for a chance and when you gave a chance I didn't want to let it go."
Rk stopped his bike on the road side and turn back to her. Madhu slowly got down from the bike and took off her helmet and ruffled her free hair.
"What you wanna talk?" Rk asked with interest.
"Oh... that... um... well... I don't know how to tell this... I feel... We actually... "
"C'mon Madhu, spill the bean?"
"I wanna talk to you about the message we shared last night... We both actually confessed... " Madhu hesitated not knowing how to explain that she was confused. She didn't know how much serious they were about their love. They just blurted out they love each other in text so she worried whether they meant it or it was just a sudden thought popped up in the moment and they shared it openly without giving a second thought.
"But you are still unsure?" Rk asked understanding where she was getting with that topic. "You worry whether love really happened between or it's just a mere attraction?" he asked.
She nodded her head slightly.
"Gimme a five..." he said grinning as he raised up his hand to give her hi fi. She frowned but still touched his palm with her and they both pulled away too quickly as a wave of current passed through them with their electrifying touch. So filmy right? "I have the same doubt and worry... I felt like I gave out my hand too soon without knowing each other... I don't know you that well like you don't know me so why don't we take things slow? We will understand each other and we will decide whether we have really fallen in love at first sight or not?"
"Do you believe in love at first sight?" Madhu asked.
"Honestly? I guess no... Um.. Actually I am confused. I always felt what comes at first sight was just attraction and not love but really confused with my own theory especially after seeing you. I was attracted to you the moment I saw you... Your beauty, your blush and your smile struck me like a thunder bolt. I liked you and trust me I really wished to have you by my side all my life... So I thought I loved you as well... Even now still a part of me is in denial mode saying that its truly love and not just attraction... But when I gave a much deeper thought after we ended our chat saying good night to each other last night... I thought I should love you with all my heart. I want this.." he pointed his finger to her and him "Whatever it is between us... I just want it to grow... bloom and blossom like a beautiful flower."
"I agree with you. I seriously want us to work out and make a couple.."
"Couple of kids?" he teased her.
"No. No. I didn't mean that. I meant to say we should try and understand each other and fall in love irrevocably and make a perfect couple who are ready for a life term commitment."
"Well, I didn't say anything wrong. When you expect a life time commitment then surely you can expect a couple of kids from me" he said defensively still grinning at her.
"Um... I... Let's not talk about this now. We have lots of time for that." Madhu said softly fidgeting with her scarf, blushing.
"Okay, on a serious note no couple is truly perfect. All are imperfect but they make some adjustments and compromises to lead a perfect life as couples instead of leading a lonely unhappy life sticking to their ego"
"Agreed!"
"Well, as you suggested we will date... We will learn to trust and understand each other... Then one fine day I will go down on my knees and propose you and you accept my love."
"What if we fall apart?"
"We hope not" Rk said sternly. He didn't even like the thought of parting their ways if they couldn't find true love for each other in them.
"You have to think about the "IF"?"
"Then we should part our ways in a friendly way without any regrets and ugly fight. I want us to be friends always if not lovers. What you say?"
"Yes. I go with you."
"Then sit back on the bike. We will go and attend my friend's birthday party" He said with a chuckle. She laughed and climbed on the bike placing her legs on either side.

"Tell me about your friends, Rk?"
"Sultan, my best buddie. We are together from our school days. He joined Law college just for me. He secretly wished to become an engineer but joined my college to be with me."
"Oh. Does he ever regret joining law?"
"I guess no. He is happy taking up law course. He even got the love of his life in this college. Her name is Dipali. Funny girl. They both will make one perfect Tom and Jerry couple" he said with a laugh. Madhu smiled.
"Then Sikky and Trishna, Mukkund and Ria are my other close friends. We are all classmates... We hang out together... We do all the masti together. We are one fine gang. Initially we four boys were in our gang and soon their girlfriends joined in."
"Oh. What about you? You didn't have a girlfriend in college?"
"If I had one I won't be giving you a ride on my bike and taking you to my friends party." he said laughing.
"Um.. Sorry. I didn't mean to doubt you. I just meant to ask whether you had one before... um... Us?"
"I didn't like anyone... Not meaning unkindly. All the girls in my college are good and few are very pretty but I had never grown any feelings for them. I just talk and do bit of flirting but nothing serious. You are actually my first girlfriend..."
"Girlfriend?"
"Yeah, we have decided to make this relation work right? So we will start with the girlfriend-boyfriend thing... Then we will see where it goes. " he said with a casual shrug.
"Okay"
"You will meet all my friends in this party. I will introduce them to you. You will like them so will they."
"I hope so" she said softly.

"Rk!" Sultan shrieked in excitement and went straight to him to give a man to man hug. Sultan didn't bother Rk was holding a girl's hand. Rk didn't let go of Madhu's hand. He awkwardly hugged Sultan and patted his back. "Happy birthday, Sullu"
"Thanks dude"
"Sultan, this is Madhu... "
"Is she the greedy granny's granddaughter?" Sultan asked like a fool earning a foot stamp from Rk.
Madhu nervously smiled at Sultan.
"Am sorry. I.. Well, Rk told a lot about you. He didn't even write his last exam well as you were occupied in his mind. You are such a bad influence to him you know?" Sultan joked and laughed. Rk glared at him and turned to look down at Madhu who seemed to be upset.
"Hey, I actually forgot to tell one important fact about my friend Sultan... He is insane actually so don't mind his stupid words." he whispered nearer to Madhu's ear.
Madhu smiled lightly and looked around to find some girls with whom she can mingle.
And right then Dipali walked towards them. "Rk! You look handsome as ever." Dipali said in a cheery tone and threw herself at Rk.
"Dipali, meet Madhu... My girlfriend" Rk awkwardly released her hands being wrapped his neck and took a step backward and brought Madhu to stand between him and Dipali so that she will notice he wasn't alone but with his date.
"Oh finally you found your partner. Now no one is single in our group"
"Hey, Madhu. I am Dipali, Sultan's girlfriend but I secretly love your boyfriend" Dipali said loudly which she claimed to be a secret and winked at Rk. Rk rolled his eyes annoyed. "My idiotic friends are surely going to get me a break up. Shit!" he cursed under his breath and held Madhu's hand tightly in case she wanted to take a run.
"I knew it! I knew you were with me only to get associated with my best friend." Sultan accused her in a fake serious tone. Madhu worriedly glanced at Rk.
Rk dragged her little away from his friends' circle.
"You okay?"
"hmm"
"Don't mind what Sultan or Dipali said."
"Shall I ask you something?"
"Yes, of course"
"Um... What Dipali said... Was it true? She secretly loves you?"
"No. She is happy with my friend Sultan but she always loves to make him jealous. I don't think she has any feelings for me... If she does also... well, the feeling is not mutual. I am pretty keen on u... on our progress... I don't think I have ever felt the way I feel for you now..."
"How you feel for me?"
"I don't know. I can't explain you how exactly I feel for you. It's quite strange and weird... of course, in a good way. I feel thrilled and excited when I am near you. Even now... " he just gripped her hand and squeezed it gently. "I am so happy having you by my side" he said with a genuine smile.
"I am happy with you too" she said shyly looking down at her feet.
"Tell me if you are not feeling comfortable here. I will take you home."
"No, it's okay. I will go get some cool drink. You go talk with your friends."
"No, I am not leaving your side. You don't know anyone here and I don't want you to feel left out" he said and entwined his fingers with hers. She gave him a small smile.
After grabbing drinks they walked back to their friends' gang to meet the others.

"Hello, Sharadha-ji" Radha greeted Madhu's grandma. "You seem to be tensed, maa? Any problem?" Radha asked in concern seeing Sharadha, Madhu's grandma phasing around her house gate.
"My granddaughter Madhu has gone to her friend's house and she hasn't returned home yet. It's getting late and..." she looked up at the sky. "It looks like the clouds will open up any minute and pour down rain. I am worried how she will return home."
"You please don't worry. She will come home safely." Radha assured her and right then Rk halted his bike in front of his house gate.
"Hey, mom." he took off his helmet and smiled at her.
"You are early today?" Radha asked in surprise. Every time he goes out for his friends' party he will only return late night or simply crash at his friend's place but today he had to return early because he had taken Madhu along with him and she started worrying for her grandma and persisted him to take her home. So he left the party sooner with her and dropped her in the same church from where he picked her up. She was walking home from there and he came before her in his bike to not give any chance to his mom or to her grandma to suspect them.
"Hello, granny" Rk slowly waved his hand at her.
Granny turned her face away not willing to greet him.
"Mom, why are you standing out? Get in. It's about to rain."
"I was coming from grocery shop and found Madhu's grandma worriedly standing out so I was asking her what was the matter."
"Oh! What's it, mom?" he asked casually though he knew she was worried for her granddaughter who hadn't returned home yet.
"Madhu didn't come home huh"
"Oh" he felt a pang of guilt for leaving her two streets away and coming home first.
Suddenly it started raining heavily.
"Shit! Mom, you get in." he rushed his mom inside his house. Then he walked back to granny. "Granny, you also get in. Madhu will come home safely."
"There is no auto rickshaw from the main road. She has to walk all the way to home in this heavy rain." Grandma said worriedly. "Will you go and see for her?"
"Me?" Rk asked innocently. "You want me to look for your granddaughter? To bring her home in my bike?" he asked for confirmation. "What people will think if they see me with a girl? That will spoil my image."
"Shut up and go!" she ordered.
"You can't order me."
"Hell! I can. After all you killed our Crystal (dog) so atleast do this favour for me."
"Okay! You don't worry. I will bring her home safely." he couldn't pull the innocent act longer. He really wanted to go and get Madhu home safe. He started his bike and raced back to the chruch where he left her.
He found Madhu at the corner of their street walking slowly hugging her wet body, shivering.
"Madhu... Get on the bike" he said halting his bike next to her.
"Rk, you go. Someone will see us" Madhu panicked and looked around.
"Your grandma only asked me to bring you back home safe."
"Oh" she said and quickly sat on his bike.
"Sorry" he said. "I shouldn't have left you there. Now you are fully soaked. I hope you dont catch cold"
"I only asked you to drop me there. So you are not at fault. In fact I could have stayed inside the church till the rain stops but I didn't because I love to get wet in rain."
"You got me wet too"
"You don't like rain? And why are you not talking me home?"
"I like rain but I don't like getting wet in rain." he said running his left hand through his wet hair. "Just two circles around our colony then I will take you to your home. I want your grandma to think I took so much strain and went long distance in search of you."
"Okay. I am actually liking this." she whispered and unknowingly she placed her cheek on his shohlder.
"Liking what?"
"Bike ride. I never done this before. I have traveled only in bus, car, train and flight. No bike ride"
"Oh! Don't worry next time I will take you somewhere longer in my bike. May be we can go for an one day trip, what you say?"
"I would love to go with you to the end of this world."
"Oh! But that will cost too much of petrol and mainly my bike has no such capacity to travel the world in it." he joked and she hit his back playfully.
"Okay, now take your cheek of my back and move and sit." he gently shrugged his shoulder alerting her they were nearing their street. Madhu quickly scooted back leaving enough space between her front and his back.
"Madhu... My darling... " Her grandma took Madhu in her arms as soon as she stepped down from his bike. She was waiting ready with a towel and she covered Madhu's upper body with it by wrapping it around her shoulders.
"No thanks for me?" Rk asked when Madhu and her grandma walked leaving him behind without a word. Granny turned and gave him a mock glare.
"Dadi, this is bad. He helped me and brought me home. We should thank him. No, actually we should invite him inside and give him a cup of coffee." Madhu said. Rk pressed his lips to prevent the bubble of laughter from escaping. He thought no one act better than him but she just ate him with her performance.
"Please, come in, Mr.?"
"Rishab"
"Oh yeah. Sorry, I forgot your name though I have been to your house twice. How is your mother?"
"She is good" he said with a smirk.
"You didn't talk with him while coming in the bike?" her granda piped in.
"No, dadi... I got completely wet and started shivering. My teeth were chattering so I couldn't speak to word" she lied and rubbed her hands to bring some warmth to her cold hands. Rk gasped in shock. Granny turned to his side and gave him a look.
"I better go home. My mom will be waiting for me to have dinner with me. I will do coffee another day, Madhu"
"No, coffee for you ever from my house" granny said glaring at him, holding her hip with her hand.
"Okay, fine. I know you don't know to make good coffee. I will take your granddaughter to cafe coffee day & get her some nice coffee. Okay, Madhu?" he asked grinning. She blushed and slowly nodded her head.
"Get in!" granny shouted at Madhu.
"Okay, come" Rk put his hand on Madhu's shoulder and dragged her into their house.
"I asked my Madhu to get in... And you get out!" she showed the way out for Rk.
"Angry granny!" Rk pulled both her cheeks with a laugh and ran away before she could slap him.
"Naughty annoying boy" Granny shook her head in disapproval.
"But nice adorable boy too" Madhu whispered.
"You have gone crazy, Madhu" granny chided her.
"Crazy for him" Madhu mumbled and walked into the house and headed straight to her room.
