PART 32

RK came out of the bathroom after taking a bath.

RK: Wow...food has come...good I am very hungry. ( He said while throwing his towel on the chair next to him)

Madhu: Yes.. (Madhu said giving a weird smile)

"What's up with her?" RK asked himself and remembered what all happened few moments ago.

FLASHBACK

RK was standing there dumbstruck when Madhu splashed water on him.

Madhu: What happened?? Now why aren't you laughing? (She said feeling highly satisfied by taking her revenge)

RK: You shouldn't have done that Madhu. (He said directly glaring into her eyes)

Madhu: (Without taking a break blabbered) Then what do you expect from me...I came here only for you...by flight...I have never been in the plane...I was so scared...all those stupid negative thoughts were coming into my mind like what if plane crashes or what if plane catches fire but still I came...only for you and what did you do...you splashed water all over me...so I did the same thing.

Even before she could take a break and breath he pulled her towards him and took her into his arms and walked towards the bathroom.

Madhu: What is this RK leave me. ( she fidget but all that went in vain)

RK went inside the bathroom and in no time Madhu was in the Jacuzzi all wet.

RK: You wanted to play water water...now play as much as u want...but mind you ...you can never beat me...(He winked at her and stood up) I am going to order dinner...(Madhu was only staring at him in anger clenching her teeth...He again turned around and asked her) By the way what will you have?

Madhu: RKkk!!! (She shouted)

RK: Oh me?? With what beer, whisky or scotch?? (He chuckled again and left from there closing the door)

Madhu: Such a devil he is...argghhh!

After few minutes Madhu came out of the bathroom in a bathrobe. She looked here and there but couldn't find RK. She opened the cupboard to take out her clothes. When she turned around she found RK standing there completely lost in her. She was looking so beautiful in wet hair and pink bathrobe RK could not help but get drowned in her beauty. He slowly came forward making Madhu nervous. Finally he was there standing too close to her scanning her face for few seconds with those authoritative looks combined with a smirk on his lips.

RK: Madhu... (He whispered as he lifted her face)

Madhu who was breathing heavily gathered some courage and looked above deep into his eyes.

RK: Madhu you... (He wanted to say something to her but her eyes were not letting him say anything further)

RK: You...

With every word Their breath started running heavily and they could here their own heart beats.

RK: You...(He said again)

Madhu: Me what (She didn't know when she asked him that)

RK: How many times will you take bath in one day?

Madhu: What?? (She didn't get it as That question was so unpredictable to the situation.)

RK the bursted out laughing seeing Madhu's dumb face and then Madhu understood that he was only teasing her.

RK: Well I guess it's the 3rd time right...obviously in the morning you would have taken a bath then after reaching here and now...umm well I guess I too should go and take a bath...will be back soon...sweetheart.

Madhu was about to hit him hard but he ran away.

FLASHBACK ENDS

RK: Come have dinner.

Madhu: Umm n...no...I am not hungry. (She stammered)

RK: Why?

Madhu: I...I had snacks before you came so I am not hungry.

RK was confused but he didn't say anything and poured red curry into the bowl...but when he was about to have it Madhu said in a raised voice.

Madhu: Stop!!

She took the bowl from him and kept it aside.. RK looked at her completely puzzled with half mouth opened.

RK: What are you doing biwi?

Madhu: RK try this salad...that curry is yuck I have tasted it.

RK raised his one brow questioning her stupid act.

Madhu: Are...why are you looking at me like this...I am telling you na that this curry is not good in taste...have this salad.

RK: Madhu...have you lost it...what do you think this salad is enough for me to tame my appetite...I have heard of getting fever when you get drenched but this abnormal behaviour is really scaring me...I think you should consult a psychiatrist.

Madhu: Shut up RK.

RK: Then let me have it Madhu.

Madhu: No you can't

RK: Why?

Madhu: I told you the reason RK.

RK: No you are hiding something from me...will you tell me what is it?

Madhu loosing in front of RK finally spoke up

Madhu: Actually when you were in the bathroom I called up room service again and asked them to make the curry extra spicy...only to take avenge...but when I tasted it...it turned out to be too spicy.

RK who was listening to her carefully and asked her

RK: Then why did you stopped me from having it...u could've let me eat it.

Madhu: Because I know you can't it spicy food (She shook her head
and said) I am sorry.

RK looked at her for few seconds and chuckled on her way of taking revenge. Madhu looked at him in confusion.

Madhu: What happened?

RK: Nothing

Madhu: Then why are you laughing

RK: Leave it...okay may I ask you one more question?

Madhu: Yes!

RK: Madhu...why have you come to Manali?

Madhu had an answer to this question but she did not have the courage to answer it.

Madhu: Umm...woh...I...I came here coz...Ma and Malvika said that even I should go and...(she looked here and there twisting her fingers in nervousness)

RK knew that she was lying he wanted to hear the truth from her so he took the bowl and staring eating that spicy curry.

Madhu: RK stop it what are doing? (She tried to stop but this time she couldn't)

RK: Madhu if you'll not tell me the truth I will eat this whole bowl of curry...now it's up to you.(He said while he again had another spoon of curry)

Madhu: RK stop behaving like a mad.

RK: I am not behaving like a mad Madhu...I am mad(he said while his ears and nose were turning red and his eyes filled with tears)

Madhu: RK listen to...stop doing this...just look at yourself.

RK: I don't care Madhu I just need the answer to my question...that why you came here...why Madhu. ...why?

Madhu: Because I love You RK...(she shouted and took away that bowl from him)

RK was standing there trying to believe the fact that Madhu has confessed her feelings for him. A smile came on his face when he heard that

Madhu: I was missing you...I wanted to be with you that's why I came here(And after saying this she hugged him tightly while a tear rolled down her cheek)

After few minutes RK said

RK: Madhu...let's take an interval. ..else I'll die with this hot spicy mouth.

Madhu: Oh sorry (She broke the hug and made him drink water)...feeling better?

RK: Much better (He said looking into her eyes)

Madhu hit his arm and asked him

Madhu: Why are you like this?

RK: Well now this is me...and now you can't do anything because you are already married to me and just few minutes before you even confessed your love for me...so this is a life time imprisonment for you.

Both of them laughed at this and then Madhu took the spoon but before RK could stop her she had the same curry.

RK: Why did you eat this Madhu?

Madhu: What to do...If it's a life time imprisonment to be with you then even I have to get half mad to love you...right?

RK smiled at her and then he made her drink water.

RK: Feeling better?

Madhu: Just perfect!!

And they hugged each other.
