On the day of ganesh chaturthi,
Madhu got ready and was preparing for Pooja before she goes to take Ganesh Murthi that she had ordered ... She saw Rk coming towards her all ready with piya in his arms...
Madhu went towards them to inform Rk that she is going to buy Murthi and was about to leave went Rk caught hold of her hand and said U are not going alone that someone with you... Madhu replied Rishab am not a child that i cannot go alone and other are also busy in today's preparations , Ok then I am coming with you because i cannot let you go all alone like this said Rk and put down piya and said her beta you go to pabbo now , we will be comie after buying murthi ok said rk kneeling down towards piya... She nodded and ran towards pabbo where she was sitting...
After talking to piya Rk dragged madhu towards his car and made her sit on passenger seat and he sat on driver's ...
While driving Rk asks madhu , y don't u listen to me when i said that we will not celebrate this festival but still u are adamant to celebrate it...Madhu looks at him and asks him the same question which she is asking from last night
Y dont u want to celebrate this?.. Rk stopped the car with a jerk...
He turned towards her and held her fore arms tightly and said nafrat kartha hu mai Bhagwan se suna tumne nafrat kartha hu mai ( i hate God did u hear i hate him) and came out of the car leaving shocked madhu there...
After recovering from shock madhu too came out of the car and came near him and softly called his name Rishab by keeping her hand on his shoulder... Rk turned towards madhu and said Madhu maine Ganeshji ko apna dost mana tha , maa khethy thi k agar tum sache man se tum Bappa se kuch bhi mangoge toh woh tumeh woh zaror denge ( Madhu i thought Ganeshji as my friend, mom used to say that if u ask anything from Bappa from true heart , he will surely will give you)
They stood in silence for some time , Rk remembering his childhood and madhu waiting him to continue... Then Rk continued Jab humarah accident hua tha maa papa died on spot but choti woh ushka kuch pata nai tha , mai Bappa se din raat prathna kartha tha k muhje meri choti se mila de lekin unhone ne mujhse meri choti ko bhi judaa kardya ... Sab kheteh hai k ushe (he said in painful voice with closed eyes) Jangli janwar ne... but he couldn't complete the sentence and madhu came and hugged him tight to comfort him and he too hugged her with equal intensity ... ( When we met with an accident mom dad , they died on spot but choti was not found... I prayed day night to God that i get my choti back but he drifted my choti away from me... All say that (he said in painful voice with closed eyes) wild animals...)
After some time Rk broke the hug and made madhu sit in the car and drove off the buy the murthi and after buying they went back home ... the whole journey was in silence both were lost in their own thoughts...
They reached Mansion anf rk stormed off to his room where as madhu took the murthi to astharpit it...
All the preparation of pooja was done an hour before it.. Madhu went to her room to freshen up before pooja .. After freshening madhu saw Rk standing near window lost in thoughts... Madhu went near him and kept her hand on his shoulder bringing him out of his thoughts ... Madhu cupped face and said I know u are angry with God for snatching away ur family from you but think Rishab if God snatched away ur one family but then gave u ur own family ur daughter , me , pabbo ain't are we ur family... And i trust him , what ever he does with us , he does it for our own good... U know about my past too Rishab but i believed him and trusted him and see where am now i got u , piya both of you are my life just because i kept my trust and belief on God , saying this madhu left and Rk kept standing there seeing her retiring figure...
Who will do the aarti asked priest to Pabbo , she replied my son and daughter-in-law rishab and madhu..
It was almost pooja time all were waiting for rk to come so that they can sart the pooja...
finally like after ages rk came before the mahurat gets end in red kurta and white pajama ... Madhu's face broke into huge smile seeing him coming for pooja... Madhu hurried towards him and said i knew rishab u would come with huge smile on her face... Yes BIWI i had to come because i trust u and u trust him and i trust on ur trust madhu , please never let this trust break ... Madhu smiled at him with light traces of tears in her eyes and promises to him i wont...
Priest calls them for pooja and asked them to start pooja with aarti... After pooja it was visharjan time they all left the house for visharjan , on the way all saw some group of men started beating drums and between of them Rk comes out with drum tied around and beating drum with intensity and started singing..

After rk finished singing they did aarti once more befor visharjan and then rk did Vissharjan in the sea by himself...
At night...
Rk was lying on madhu's lap and madhu was running her fingers between his hair... they were surrounded by a comfortable silence... Madhu broke the silence and said Thanks rishu for coming today... Rk holds her hand still lying on her lap and says madhu i trusted in God by seeing ur trust ... and again silence prevails...
Madhu calls Rk , hmm madhu caressing his hair ... Madhu my choti is alive na asked Rk suddenly , madhu looks at him painfully and asks him what ur heart says rishu??... Rk sits up in front of her and holds her hands and says madhu my heart says she is alive ... Madhu smiles at him painfully and with tears in her eyes and says if ur heart says she is alive then she is alive rishu and if God wills then u will surely meet her one day ...
Rk kissed madhu's forehead and hugs her... Both of them lie down on the bed still holding each other and drifts tp sleep...
